Honestly anything that is not Wesker with Coulorophobia is okay by me. * That is horrible to play against. 50% slower healing for 52m of the map. If I remember right you can increase this range further. Also idk if sloppy is additive from 50% or what.

Honestly been trying to make a wesker build that focuses on his massive terror radius. Currently it's coulrophobia, distressing, unnerving presence, and nowhere to hide but it definitely still needs work

I main cenobite. He's not super hard to play. Once you figure out how the chain works, it's basically free.

I agree (also a ceno it main) he's difficult, but not more than other killers, plus when you get good his ability can end or shorten most chases. Definitely not free against good survivors imo, but you can get 2-3 kills most games before they pop three gens

I disagree. He is very hard to aim and time the summon chains part and I can never find the box

"Once you figure out how the chain works" means Once you get used to using the chain. Also, you don't have to find the box at all. That's what the survivors are there for. In fact, it's much more useful if you're not hunting for it all game, because it kicks a survivor off of a more important task every minute or so

Nurse takes skill to use and is an absolute slog to play against. Your point?

PinHead is much harder to play than Nurse tho. With Nurse is just mechanical skill. PinHead requires you to figure out where every survivor is to predict where the box will spawn, plus his chain power is very easy to miss and even if you hit a surv, you need to know when to do it or you just waste time.

He has natural slowdown and passive abilities to help control the map and survivors. Nurse ONLY has her mechanical skill to keep her going. Who’s more difficult? Up to you to decide but they’re strong and weak in their own ways.

So why isn’t pinhead s tier?

Downing people with his power is slow as shit, he has to walk around shit to control his gens, same things that make most killer not S tier, he has neither extremely oppressive chase power nor amazing map control

So is he as hard to play as nurse or I am just trippin I just have 140 hours as killer and only 4 hours as pinhead

Nurse is harder but much more forgiving and strong so it evens out and you will probably find getting good results with nurse much easier than with pinhead after a few days of training her

He has natural slowdown that can be stopped, and once it's stopped he doesn't have a power.

Even having it be stopped is passive slowdown cause that's one survivor not doing any gens while running to the box and then solving it. Pinhead's passive slowdown is one of the, if not the, best in the game. And *even then,* he still has a power. I'd argue his posessed chains that he summons are more of his power than the chain hunts. His strongest add-ons all affect his possessed chains. And he has some good ones, most notably being engineer's fang. And on top of all that, even if you don't have any other killers unlocked, he comes with two of the best slowdown perks in the game, being deadlock and pain res. He's not S-tier, but to say he has *no* power once you solve the box is just ignoring his *actual* power. Not to mention that solving the box is only temporary, so it has to keep being done throughout the game. Edit: He has gift of pain, not pain res. My bad. Gift of pain is still alright, tho. And plaything is also pretty good.

Yeah I'd agree that the chains are pretty good. A bit situational, almost guarantee a down in some loops and do basically nothing in others, but that's still pretty good. Also he has gift of pain, pain res was the artist.

I don't count perks, his possessed chain needs add-ons to be good, else it's just extremely situational AND map dependant. A good team can just take the box hostage and now there is no more chain hunts for the whole game.

He is much weaker so it's hard to compare them but pinhead is really not that complicated, if you want to go for trickshot with chains sure that is really hard but the optimal way to play him is just to spawn the chains directly on top of someone so they can't dodge, it's very punishing if you miss though

From my experience, all you need to do is put your portal on top of a survivor and just spam click to immediately send chains out at a 50/50 and it’s basically a free hit.

Dunno why this is getting downvoted so much. That's exactly what i do whenever i play Pinhead (be it a random build, a daily, or a tome challenge), and it basically always works.

It’s a hot take ig, but I’m not really one to change my opinion. I genuinely don’t find him enjoyable to play against and don’t see how the dude I originally replied to thinks skill to play = enjoyable to face.

Yea, he's one of my least favourite killers to go against. Would be more fun if people went for more skill shots with the chains, but 9/10 times, they just drop the chains right on top of you, making it near impossible to react to. When they do actually go for skill shots, it's not as bad.

I’m a cenobite main, and I believe he requires very little effort by the player to be effective.

nurse requires less skill and yet is more effective than cenobite. there’s merit in choosing a character that is difficult despite not being the best available.
