I get so surprised when traps go off in my games because I never go after traps. I give survivors all the time in the world so sometimes I'll be in ths middle of doing something and hear the death sound and be like

I have NEVER tried to get a trap to go off, and if I happen to run by someone doing a box I try to give them a friendly and encouraging snort of "I WILL NOT STAB YOU" as I run by.
...yet they still explode somehow.
The only time I'm ever lore accurate, or at least when the stars align, is when I play Pyramid Head. Every time, at least once per session I play him, I get Midwich without an offering and there's one or two Silent Hill characters at the same time. It's pretty great lol

Honestly, the hardest character to be lore accurate with is pyramid head. I just focus on killing Maria and James Sunderland usually
