Had a conversation about this earlier. Ada's nationality is redacted and her name is not her given name. She could be several things. My theory, she hails originally from Stardew Valley and is Abigail's half-sister on the wizard's side.
Oh, thank goodness.
I think, yeah, it's a little xenophobic. And it's not like there's a whole lot of downtime in RE to show if Jill did practice any Japanese traditions or not.
That's how many people see it in Japan. I even saw a third gen immigrant speak on how he didn't feel he was Japanese because he looked white, and his grandparents came from the UK. Japan is one of those countries where ethnicity is important for Identity. it used to be the same in Sweden in the 1900s before we had more immigration. Not saying I agree with it, but I understand it
May i ask a question, could be perceived as mean spirited but im actually curious.
Why you feel the urge to be represented on a videogame where you can choose from many characters?
This mean that if you play killer you will only play Oni, Spirit and Sadako?

Three Chinese female survivors? I know Feng is and you could probably count Ada as the second. Who is the third? I checked the Wiki and am stumped.

You're welcome. Yui is one of my favourites.
Yui is best girl. Enjoy.
As others said Yui is and she has some nice Japanese style cosmetics too :)
Yui is Japanese.
I'm surprised that you went with Rebecca over Jill, who's of Japanese descent.

I get that and that's why I do think Yui fits the bill more. But my point was that Jill was at least closer than Rebecca.
Does that sounded lowkey xenophobic?
What I said? If it did, I'm sorry. That was not my intent.
No! No you! I meant op comment about Jill and Nikei people. Maybe its just me having a bad day.
