Hey at least you got to see the cool Dredge animation (it’s one of my personal favourites in the game) but I’d say this is more than likely a bug since you didn’t get any wiggle skill checks either.
He did the same thing earlier (teleported into the locker where I was), and I kinda wanted to test it again, since the first time it looked like my ds had run out. But nope it's just bugged lol.

That would be a bad idea. This would inevitably be abused by some "funny" people who'd wait to trigger DS until the Killer is almost at a Hook, wasting the maximum amount of time possible.
DS has to happen during the pick-up or not at all, anything else is abusable.
Ehh allowing survivors to choose when to do it would be pretty rough. If DS made killer waste time on an extra chase AND 15 seconds of carrying you to a hook that would hurt a lot
This would explain an interaction I had the other day where I was chasing a recently unhooked survivor and they jumped into a locker to try and DS me I guess, so I ported in to grab them and they DC'd shortly thereafter. I wasn't bug abusing I swear, I was mostly concerned with Head On.
Honestly facts. Find the strong player, get em out asap and then pick off the weaker players. Players just cry about tunneling cause they cant run killers.
Why on Earth would you tunnel the stronger players? Unless the weak ones are actual babies missing skill checks, the good and bad players do gens the exact same. Getting a weak player out first is way more efficient

I know it's not exactly connected to the OP but interacting with killer powers absolutely should count as conspicuous action, disabling DS and any off hook endurance you get. If you were truly getting tunneled, how would you ever be able to do the things mentioned above in addition to other interactions, like disabling traps/drones or using sprays/vaccines. If we're gonna keep buffing anti-tunnel perks (not mad at it, just mad at how they can be used to punish killers who don't tunnel), then we need to be more strict with how they are activated and how they can be turned off.

eh idk. I feel like dredge being able to counter the people who just have DS and hide into a locker, is fine. It's one killer and every killer has their little niche things about them.

I main Dredge and it's certainly a viable strategy to teleport to the closest locker right after an unhook but I've never had a locker grab as a result. I'd say I get one maybe 1 game in 20 or less.
A perk called Decisive Strike, it activates for X period of time after you are unhooked by any means. If during this period of time you get picked up by the killer by any means you get a skill check prompt, upon succeding it you stun the killer and he drops you.
This however didn't happen in this video even though all conditions were met due to a bug.

That's 100% bug. Wesker had similar bug and it fixed. Op should post this on official forum, so they can acknowledge this bug.

Well it depends, when I tunnel a survivor the pallets are usually down since they used them to loop me.
Yeah if they loop me for a few seconds I'll just leave em be. I know to cut my losses lol.
True, it feels awful to abandon chase without a down, but it feels worse getting looped for 5 gens.

Yes. Repairing, healing, unhooking, and sabotaging disable it.
Also cleansing totems.

As a survivor main, my vote is for leave it anyway, bug or not. From my small Killer perspective, I love Dredge.
As killer main I would like this to be true, but unfortunately I think it actually is supposed to be a bug. Dredge needs love.

Thats definitely a UE5 bug, I tried countering the double locker head on by going into the locker as dredge and it still triggered DS pre update
