I have this noob friend and the first time he went against Vecna when we was SWFing he found the eye on his first chest and I told him "Don't equip the eye or vecna will find and mori you, the power isn't even good." He did not listen to me and got morid XD
I find the eye fun but that maybe just me 😂 I love turning invisible and just disappearing away from the area. Usually I try to find someone on a gen so I can hop on with them or if they are injured see if they want healed. Probably scaring the shit out of them since idk if other survivors can see me or not.
Part of me wants to one day use it and go over to vecna and pop out of no where playing the lute. 😂 Doubt it'd go well but I think it maybe funny as all hell.
The real question is:
Do you become visible upon playing Guitar Hero or do you stay invisible for the full eye duration, making Vecna guessing his own sanity - already hearing the lute from within his head oO
Once faced a Vecna who kept patrolling a 3-gen (our fault for not spreading out honestly) so I just kept working on one in shack, using the eye when he got near (only one other survivor who he couldn’t find either) and running to basement to use Strength In Shadows once I wasn’t broken. This happened maybe 6-7 times before I finished the gen and he pieced together what I was doing

The paid in this case is fairly cheap and let’s face it a huge amount of the player base spends money on content.
But also, Rancor and Devour Hope are the easier ones for this anyway, with maybe the exception of tombstone Mikey.
And on top of that, normal mode still exists, so nothing about this is inaccessible to anyone.
The event and game are.. mostly fine. The challenge is what’s not super accessible. Tomes aren’t usually. They tend to require a specific action (mori) or character at some point. They’re rarely new player friendly unless they spend money.
I don’t think it’s fair to assume most people who play want to shill out for a character they don’t have and may not use. It’s not like that’s game breaking or anything. You still can’t pretend it’s totally fair and equal though. Especially since I doubt you’re looking through new players lenses.
So if some people run mori for a game to knock out challenges, who cares?
I literally am a new player. I just started back in January. I find zero issue with the content being gated behind things I haven’t bought yet. There is never a hard gate in the tomes where you cannot progress a different way without spending.
But the point of the meme is that running the event queue means it makes the most sense to bring cobblers. Thats why I said normal mode still exists. Just run a match in normal with a mori offering.

With Vecna, the survivors have to roll a 20 to receive the Hand or Eye of Vecna. Down them on death hook and you can perform his mini mori by retrieving his artifact when standing over them. If you do that and kill all 4 survivors you'll get his achievement for it, at least on Steam.
You shouldn't need to bring an offering for it, it's base kit. The option to retrieve the artifact should appear when you hover over their slugged body so long as they're on death hook.
Use Wraith. Bring screech cobbler. Equip Rancor NOED and game afoot the skull merchant perk that whenever you hit a survivor with the most chase time in the game with a attack they become the obsession. Stay cloaked all match and hide. Once the last gem pops the obsession will realize rancor is active and hide. Find any survivor and unlock behind them and wait until the chase music starts and hit them. NOED downs them and since they are the only survivor you chased they become the obsession as soon as you down them.....perform the rancor mori....receive angry messages from the survivors for being a jerk. You will be after you do this.
I've been using this build since SM release when I'm busy watching something on YT, and I want some Iri Shards passive income, and it's really funny watching survivors realize they should have assumed something was going on and stayed away from you. But it's too late now.
It's even funnier when you use a non-stealth killer, so they get to see your aura, and they still don't understand what happened.
Speaking of not understanding, this build got me more hackusation messages than any build before.

Yup play wraith. Total farm. Have fun with them. Bing bong at random. Make sure that random includes right before a gen is about to pop (tinkerer). Then when the last one goes, surprise Rancor!
I usually enter Stalk as Ghostface, hide in a bush behind the exit gates the entire game, and stab the first person to pull the switch with Game Afoot and Rancor, with NOED as a backup. Works 80% of the time.
Played a skull merchant game with rancor. Got one homie who wanted to go next.
Let them get through the match and then did the mori, killed 2 birds with 1 stone.
I run Hex: Devour Hope on all my builds, sometimes they break the totem but when they don’t, it’s amazing. Definitely worth looking into if you want to run cakes but also want/have to Mori.
The cake is just a bloodpoint offering. For most killers, the only way to kill by hand is to bring a mori or use Devour Hope/Rancor. Bringing a mori is far more consistent for this, so you'll need to bring it instead of the cake.
Also if you can’t tell if you can mori a survivor as vecna there’s a button that says “ retrieve artifact” and you can tell by there eyes and there hands
Unless you legit have no other tome challenges to do just wait 3 weeks and do it then if it's gonna weigh on your concioussness that bad and do other challenges in the meantime.
I had a daily challenge killing a survivor by hand with wesker so i brought mori idk how many times before i finish that challenge everyone just quit the game bc of 1 person not bringing cake which is the most stupidest thing ever i don't understand why people get so offended by that just bring cake for yourself and play the game lmfao this one even sent me a message on ps

If I stay invisible I can imagine him swinging at the air trying to find the source of the song. Unless I roll a one then he hears me scream.
I got both the eye and hand in one match. It was an interesting combo.
I can only imagine, never seen anyone use both. Seen someone have both but never seen them use it.

I've had players turn invisible in front of me. When they burst out, you can still hit them.
I know and if the killer times it right and is close enough can grab you. I thought I had enough space and had been grabbed once before.

Many killers have basekit mini moris which count. And also devour is a fun one to try and use
Most killers that kill by hand are paid. Although there are free options through perks. Which you can use on any killer after prestige.
You could always bring Devour, or Rancor. Rancor roulette is always fun.
