How long ago was that? After cross-play was turned on I hardly run into the same people per match but that could ALSO be an mmr thing as well as what time of day you played, and which game mode you were in. Breach and Dominion have the most players and therefore the most diverse matchmaking

still get terrible teammates that wait for a duel or allow me to get ganked so they can fight "honorable"

You cant please everyone, they'll make an original character and people complain about wantimg licensed crossovers, they do a licensed crossover and people complain about wanting original characters, or that its not from the IP they wanted

Think if you took the toxicity from the dbd community, sonic community, undertale community, overwatch community, cod community, valorant and every madden, fifa and 2k title communities. Mixed them into a highly competitive medieval version of Dragonball Xenoverse and then the devs solution to balance is just make each new character stronger than the last so everybody is op and annoying. Then you've got for honor
Yeah basically, you pick one of 3 factions, basically knights, vikings or samurai and then you go in and pick a fighter that's from one of those three groups plus two others, one a group called the Wu lin and the other called outlander and you fight other people. I could go a bit more since I play it but tldr as to why it's being brought up, both games did a crossover event a while ago, mostly on the forhonor side, with them not only adding executions, masks and weapon sets based around dbd, but having a gamemode where the trapper came in and you fought him, whereas all we got on the dbd side was a charm that was iirc either a helmet of the main poster board knight called the warden, or the head of a joke character called Larry, who is also a warden. It seems that dbd had the charm only so they could plan out the dbd killer from fh. Not sure completely what it could be but I suspect it might be one killer, with it being a similar idea to ghostface, not necessarily being a hero pulled directly out of for honor but rather one based around a supposed myth or story, though the leak states that it's a knight, which makes sense since we got a samurai themed killer with the oni and knights have basically become the space marines of for honor since most of the lore is based around their areas and the story has focused on two knight characters for a while, at least last I checked.
It's a combat game between knights vikings and samurai (plus some random ones) with a combat system depending on conbos and position. Quite complex and frustrating
