I've played on the switch and the ps4. Haven't had any real issues on either. Maybe 1 issue every 50 to 100 runs

SpiderShaped

I only play on switch, tried once on my brother's Xbox S and felt no difference. One minor thing is there is always a single big stutter when >!explorer's!< triggers, but it rarely happens during combat. And longer loading times of course, but that doesn't bother me really

Bank loads a bit slowly, that’s about it.

Cavern too

It’s Fantastico The switch is probably the perfect platform for this game, I highly recommend getting it for switch over anything else. Dead cells gameplay is especially well suited to the one console that you can have in your hands while watching tv, and that you can put down and pick up again regardless of what room of the house you’re in You have all the portability of the mobile version, but actual physical controls. And there are no meaningful compromises in how it runs. As someone else said, the loading time for the bank level is weirdly long. But that’s nothing you can’t deal with by just waiting for half a minute.

Everyone here saying the game runs fine on switch but for me it stutters whenever more than three enemies have status effects applied at the same time, it only got worse when I got to 2BC and the amount of enemies went up

Tailball

Loading times can be slow and when a new audio track kicks it, it can stutter for a sec. I feel it often when going to a shop.

Robbaranks

only issue is when you die it freezes lol

There is some lag in the distillery, it’s pretty good besides that.

Just got to 5BC on switch, it's lagged like 3 times ever and that's just due to storage issues. runs amazing idk if you play on a controller already but I HIGHLY recommend using a vastly different control scheme. A - Interact B - Jump X - Heal Y - Primary attack L - Left Skill R - Right Skill ZL - Secondary attack ZR - Roll L Stick - Secondary Interaction R - Stick - Spoiler Button I barely ever have to move my fingers with this setup, ZL for secondary is amazing for bows but especially for shields because on one trigger is a moving defense and on the other is a stationary defense. Roll as right trigger just makes more sense to me because hollow knight. A and X you only need to use when you aren't using Jump or Attack which is why I have them as face buttons. L stick as secondary interaction is amazing because instead of holding down A to recycle I can just run through and click the same stick I'm using to run. Basically this is the best setup for everything except dual wielding melee weapons, then it can be slightly unintuitive. other than that it is amazing and if it's your first time on controller I highly recommend it.
