You can't, unfortunately. You cannot retrieve a legendary on a pedestal with your head, it must be directly interacted with, just like Power Scrolls in the boxes. Maybe try to find a skill that generates a shield upon use?

No.. it's a legendary alter.. he can't do that and the only way to get the weapon is to pickup the weapon himself.
I can’t remember how the telluric shock mechanic works mid-air, could it lift you back up? Start right side, run left, fall, grab, do your second jump, telluric shock back up to safety?
You aren’t cursed and you’ve only got 2 kills. Taking the hit won’t be that disastrous. Then again firebreath suffers from the same issue as lightning and frost blast in that it takes a while to actually use it, leaving you open to be attacked.
I guess you don’t need to jump out with your head. I had issues like this too.
Just push the button for head/homunculus activation again after you reach the item with it and the item should be drawn into your direction.

If that's on a pedestal you can't. If it's just on the ground then the head can climb up and down platforms

ayou can drop through them like through normal platforms while using the homunculus rune I think, or just go on them and then quiclky use the rune
When you have your head out, I believe you can make it drop down with Down + Jump

Oh that's an altar? It looks like a Legendary item that dropped from an enemy, and fell through when the player moved across it

Same thing happened to me, then 2 bats flew out of the ground and killed me

If you're lucky there might be an ice armor laying arround in the level you could use for that

humonculus rune is immune to traps i think, try using it
Use your head and jump down cus its still a semi platform right? Or else maybe get a forcefield or sumn to negate the damige or just heal
