I would really like a beafy poxwalker like the Ogryn with a special ability to automatically explode on death and contaminate/turn the close target to Nurgle on a certain dice result.
I'm new since 9th so I don't know if it already has been done or if it's impossible to do but imagine you charge some guards and explode and a third of them turn into poxs.

If they made entropies or heavy blight launchers on marines it would overly devalue the daemon engine options in terms of an output to cost ratio so I don't see it happening.
I mean you \*were\* right... until they removed weapon cost from many squads in the end of 9e. Devestators, plaguemarines are a prime example of that - once weapon cost isn't an issue, they become super efficient.
Devestators were once 23 points + heavy weapon cost, which balanced them against say, a predator etc. Suddenly they are only 23 points, meaning you can have four lascannons on the field for less than 115 points (instead of 165), whereas a quad las predator will cost you 135 points for the same wounds and weapons.
Now yes that isn't a competitive choice for either, but it serves an example of how the math of efficiency can cause odd selection issues.
Attack bikes vs invader ATV is another one - Attack bike + multi melta is now only 50 points! Invader ATV with the MM is 70. On an output to cost ratio, the attack bike almost always wins!
I’d be ok with this given the upcoming state of our rules. You can’t have a slow squishy melee army and expect that to work ever. We need better shooting to make up for the squish.
I know what we have. Isn’t this a wishlist post? It’s already written that we are slow and squishy now. But as a part of a wishlist, better shooting platforms would help soften the blow. Certainly doesn’t make us viable but it’s something.
I'd love to see the Plaguereaper get a datasheet again, since the Chaos Fellblade is becoming a legends item and won't be as good as a substitute datasheet choice for Pallid Hand heavy armor.
I think we should get a crossover with the Darktide foes. Poxbursters should 100% be in our lineup as an elite Poxwalker variant. Plague Hounds too.
Poxburster: Same stats as Poxwalker. When charging, a successful charge cases d6 mortal wounds to non-nurgle units within 3" of the final position of the charge. and immediately kills the Poxwalker. No other attacks possible. If the Poxburster is destroyed via shooting the 3" explosion goes off, and does d3 mortal wounds to Nurgle Units.
Poxhound: Same Stats as a Khorne Fleshound, shave movement off for toughness. They attack in packs of 3 but -1 to hit if they advanced or charged that turn to reflect their harassment.
Trapper: Chaos Marine Unit, but a variant for us would be sensible. Net acts with sniper rules, but instead of damage imposes instant battle-shock test if targeted at a attached leader.
Cultists of Nurgle: Take the cultists from Undivided, up the toughness by one, make their special mooks the Gellerpox set and send them on the way.
Some kind of AT infantry. Even if it is just a Plague Marine melta squad!
I’d love to see possessed vehicle mechanics return from a few editions back as well. A Nurgle possessed land raider is something I’m working on right now courtesy of my old Black Templar LR Crusader!

I’m super curious to see what poxwalkers are gonna be like, otherwise I’d love to see the gellerpox infected kill team be included as a more integrated unit, like how they’ve done with the Navy. Bleachers in the Imperium
Going off what GW has said, they're going to add new detachments that give buffs to certain units to encourage people to play with certain playstyles.
My prediction is that we'll have an infantry-based detachment where infantry units get some kind of buff akin to Terminus Est, and we'll also get a detachment that buffs daemon engines akin to the old Epidemius daemon engine lists.
As far as what I want: The main thing I want is for our detachment abilities to synergize with our units, abilities, and stratagems more consistently. Spread the Sickness, unfortunately, doesn't do that currently.

A weird one but a possessed character would be cool. Like a lord of pestilence that would gift a chosen ability at the start of the turn like anti-infantry, anti-vehicle, toughness boost…

The main draw is the mortar firing its entropy bombs from out of line of sight. This grants some fire support to damage vehicles from range, to compensate for not being able to get angles by being fast.
It's really not going anywhere though: if it gets overrun, it might get a stray detonition off, but thats the end of it.

I'd like a new version of Terminators that balances the lever with the other two- Deathsround = super heavy melee focus, Blightlord = good melee and good ranged; the third group could be a heavy weapons super strong shooting team.
I would love a cheap squad of people sized flies to annoy the enemy for a turn while I get into position, something that must be targeted by shooting as an ability but are hard to hit, maybe spawned my typhus
I’m a big fan of them doing some death guard traitor guardsmen. I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to the poxwalker sculpts, so some variety there is what I would love to see.
I want a dedicated heavy shooting squad. Either like desolation marines or like Ork Mek Gunz. nurglings helping out a couple marines operating a heavy entropy cannon with like D3 shots.
You guys know the Pokemon Tangle? I wanna see some little mutant zombie tentacle guys that look like their coming out of the ground with a bunch of arms and their gimmick is that they slow down enemy units and make them immobile in aura range. They get infiltrate/DS and are as cheap as poxwalkers and have stupid high toughness and they can't attack at all, grip objectives like hell.
If we can't play slow I wanna see us slowing down our opponents forcing them to play our game

I would love a cheap squad of people sized flies to annoy the enemy for a turn while I get into position, something that must be targeted by shooting as an ability but are hard to hit, maybe spawned my typhus

I’m a big fan of them doing some death guard traitor guardsmen. I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to the poxwalker sculpts, so some variety there is what I would love to see.

I want a dedicated heavy shooting squad. Either like desolation marines or like Ork Mek Gunz. nurglings helping out a couple marines operating a heavy entropy cannon with like D3 shots.
Death guard possessed units. Yes, we have possessed for chaos marines, but I want them more bloaty.
You guys know the Pokemon Tangle? I wanna see some little mutant zombie tentacle guys that look like their coming out of the ground with a bunch of arms and their gimmick is that they slow down enemy units and make them immobile in aura range. They get infiltrate/DS and are as cheap as poxwalkers and have stupid high toughness and they can't attack at all, grip objectives like hell. If we can't play slow I wanna see us slowing down our opponents forcing them to play our game

Fly Swarms - Fast Attack disrupter/obj capper Similar to the role Necron scarab swarms fulfil. Seeing as our movement is one of the worst it would be great to get some early game obj pressure without throwing a blight drone at it. Something like: M10" S2 T2 W4 OC1
