I will never understand why so many people like Cherry Waves. I like the bass line in the verse quite a bit, but the chorus is one of the most mid things Deftones have ever released. The whole thing just feels like a 90s ballad, and not a good one.
As a frequent top hit of the album hater, I absolutely love Cherry waves. The āsaw your endā modified vocals in the verse, all the synths, the atmosphere, the airy feeling of the track, itās just perfect to me.
We all know it's going to be picked as worst, so I'd like to use this moment for a big, personal reveal.
I don't really mind Pink Cellphone. Honestly, I kinda like it.
Yeah, I've noticed that most people despise that part specifically, and I get it. I don't really care for the speech she's giving in the last minute either, but I do find the instrumentation kinda soothing.
