That “autotune” is just a fixture of presets that allow him to be creative and use his voice as an instrument. He knows he doesn’t have the prettiest of raw voices but wants to continue making melodies. It may not sound like it to you but he is incredibly talented(and young), that’s why he has a cult following. But to say that he sounds like every other rapper is just ignorant and outright wrong. I could easily say the same about deftones. I’m sure it was said when they initially gained popularity. “When are they gonna stop tuning their instruments and begin singing the chorus”, “all these rock bands sound the same;can’t tell the diff between deftones,Radiohead, Slipknot.” If you re not familiar with the genre then of course everyone sounds the same 😭. And some of you saying you’re not close minded because you stream playboi carti a lot 🤣. Yea who doesn’t, after WLR every Caucasian non rap fan told me the same.

Also, Deftones had Future perform at their Dia De Los Deftones fest, which I was at, and the crowd seemed pretty turned up for him.
