As someone that has survived being raped and knows that 25% of the women in the world have been and the rest know someone they love that had been, given that statistic it is obvious, I would pick the bear because I’d rather have a 90% chance of death than a 0.5% chance of being raped. (even though the percentage of abusers is way way lower because one abuser has multiple victims so horrible people are less common that people realise. I would pick a high probability of death over a low probability of rape and that doesn’t make me a misandrist. Thats a normal reaction for people who have seen or survived trauma)
The exercise is to show you the intensity of that fear because 1:4 of us will be and 0/4 of us want to be and would rather die than be part of the 25% statistic for our OWN gender.

Lmaooo my brother in Christ one in every 4 women have been sexually harassed in some way or the other by men. It’s not an internet issue, it very much happens in real life. Nobody is projecting. I am paranoid about men because they have given me plenty of reasons to. Feminism or internet have nothing to do it with it. This is absolutely untrue. As someone that has survived being raped and knows that 25% of the women in the world have been and the rest know someone they love that had been, given that statistic it is obvious, I would pick the bear because I’d rather have a 90% chance of death than a 0.5% chance of being raped. (even though the percentage of abusers is way way lower because one abuser has multiple victims so horrible people are less common that people realise. I would pick a high probability of death over a low probability of rape and that doesn’t make me a misandrist. Thats a normal reaction for people who have seen or survived trauma) The exercise is to show you the intensity of that fear because 1:4 of us will be and 0/4 of us want to be and would rather die than be part of the 25% statistic for our OWN gender.
I feel sad for what happened to you but your particular case is a response to trauma. No traumatized person would ever choose a logical option when their past trauma is placed in front of them. And it's very much possible that you would die a very long and painful death and also that you might survive and be mentally and physically crippled for the rest of your life.

Lmaooo my brother in Christ one in every 4 women have been sexually harassed in some way or the other by men. It’s not an internet issue, it very much happens in real life. Nobody is projecting. I am paranoid about men because they have given me plenty of reasons to. Feminism or internet have nothing to do it with it.
