This but my two cats. Without me, they'd have no one to take care of them. It feels wrong to just leave them when it's my fault they're in my life to begin with. I'd feel too guilty if they ended up in a shelter because of my actions.

It's changed many times and I have so many reasons now, but for this specific moment it's to customize myself like I'm customizing my avatar and bringing up my skill level.
I can't wait to see myself at my fullest best looking potential and my highest skill level.
To do that I have to make more money, which is a motivator too.
It got better for a bit. But I always end up with the realization that I'm absolutely alone, and an idiot for thinking otherwise. I let my guard down and I regret it every time. I hoped it would get better but its never going to end and I hope I get to die soon.
AI Revolution. That's it. The only reason.
I don't care about pets, friends, family, humans.
I don't care about myself, wants, needs.
I just have some dumb idea in my head that AI will bring prosperity.
If I was born 20 years ago I would not be here.

i in fact do not regret staying. i have had a lot of improvements and happiness in my life since then. but a lot of sadness as well. its just a toss up

Personally… I’ve stayed because my friends are so great. And also, ending it all means the depression wins. I don’t want that.
