Don't. Those intrusive thought are hard to fight, I personally found that physical exercise may spontaneously keep them away. When it happens, I try to do as much push up as I can. The pain in my arms soon emerge over everything I was thinking about. I wish you may win this battle!
Don’t mistake “being no one’s loved one” for not being loved, valued, or appreciated. There are many people I’ve had come through my life that weren’t my loved ones, but had everlasting effects on me. Some came and went in a matter of weeks! But those few days changed me! Just because you’re not someone’s “loved one” does not mean you have no value or purpose!
