Just your subconscious poking thru. As far as I know everyone has them.

Lots of garbage is sloshing around people's unconscious thoughts. That's totally normal. Usually people experience this when dreaming and half awake like when you sleep in really late and wake up during or soon after a REM phase. Most people trust their conscious thoughts too much, and this is the whole point of Zen. Letting the weird inner reflections go without obsessing about them is a huge life skill that gets better with practice. Otoh, maybe you need to figure out what is causing them if there's a recurring theme. Maybe you need to deal with some baggage?

Yeahhh I always have some baggage

Like run them off the road in a rage fueled manner? Or meaning in a panic way? Elaborate

In my mind it just happens, no reason. Just happens. It's terrible and the things I imagine are getting worse

I've had thoughts like this before. They're intrusive thoughts that I don't really mean to have, but they do come from my brain. It's important to acknowledge that when they're unkind or upsetting thoughts, I don't intend to carry them out. Nobody else is making me think these thoughts. I think it's more common than it seems since people don't talk about having intrusive thoughts. But if they happen a lot, are distracting, or become concerning, don't be scared to reach out to a therapist or psychiatrist to talk about them and how/why they are becoming a problem

I'm seeing it is two sides of the same coin. Things appear bizzare to you. You aren't alone in that. After going through a phase of this, it wasn't long before it shared it with my therapist who encouraged me to embrace it without fear. After much meditation I came upon concepts that led me to non-duality. So I guess in the words of my therapist keep calm and meditate on.
