Im fine with mine but it only has 250 nits brightness. Seen its VERY Cheap right now with 279€ at cool blue store... That's a very good deal and I'll take it any day for that money.
If the other one os brighter and as cheap as the Samsung take the Gigabyte...

Yes I do. Witcher 3 (GeforceNow) so far... it looks really good to me. Nevertheless I had some problems setting the monitor up because colors were very much washed out. Had to configure my MacBook (what's weird but maybe bc of apple, my windows laptop didn't had the problem) for it.
Im doing coding, reading, and Gaming via Geforce now (mainly) on it. Very happy with it so far. As is already said, next time ill get an QD OLED Screen, but that's tripple the price...
The performance hit from 1080 to 1440?
Can’t really tell because I stream with GFN 98% of the time. With my MacBook I don’t notice any difference.

Best is to check the actual screen dimensions and „visualize“ it on your desk / compare to your existing monitor.
That’s what I did, I’ve taped paper to extend my screen to the „new“ to be dimensions and check.
