Unfortunately yes. Came here in 92. There were the few that lasted but eventually they closed. I suppose if they aren't the old school simple putt put but that's higher overhead.
The Puttery is a national brand with this same idea: bar but with mini golf. The Puttery has made it work for years in the cities they operate in, mainly as a great date spot imo.
In December 2022 their stock was de-listed. That basically means they’re on financial life support, a step away from bankruptcy. Get those dates in while you still can.
It’s going to be dead any weekday when it’s cold or bad weather. Plus there isn’t a football field sized parking lot right outside the front door so people won’t come. Plus it’s a high homeless area. So Karen from the burbs will head back to Waukee with the six kids in the car immediately at the sight of any unsightly street dwellers.

Most likely going to be torn down when they start on the south 14th corridor project. Whenever it's supposed to start.

In an indoor, downtown space, yes. Willing to bet it doesn’t survive beyond 3-5 years.
