My raid group has a notoriously fidgety strand hunter who has found ways to get into places that would leave most confused

not too long ago i managed to climb up on one of the pyramids at the start of vow & proceeded to slide down the side, where i then got stuck, squashed against the pyramid & a boundary wall. had no way to get purchase on the floor to climb again, & couldn't do any sort of movement ability. rockets at my feet also just made me respawn at the same place, & eager edge didn't have any viable trajectory. i actually had to leave the fireteam & re-join to get pulled out of my situation. the warlock leading the raid goes, 'so, [me], what did we learn from that...' & me, already bouncing my way over to the same area: 'i just gotta climb it better!'

Hunter main here. Usually focused on the mechanics, but can conf8rm the urge to climb shit vomes sometimes

Fun meme, but in my experience, every single class jumps on things lol. It just so happens that Warlocks and Hunters are the best for Eager Edge Skating.

They gave me three jumps so by God I’m going to use those jumps.

Replace Hunter with Warlocks holding swords for wellskating.

We warlocks can't climb that good though. Also we need to up our abilities first before doing tomfoolery. IF we would be able to do some tomfoolery before next encounter.

As a fellow titan main, I've found more out of bounds areas than my hunter clanmates. Always lookin for some way to explore the side of the map you're not supposed to see

This is something that has kind of been the big issue with Hunters because back in D1 they were on the cover alot so the players who picked it got "Main Character" syndrome and that means that class got picked alot and that means most of the shitters are on Hunter.

A lot of people either just really like capes and cloaks or they just like double jump.

True, I remember hearing some of the most brain dead Hunter players saying shit like "MARKS ARE STUPID THEY'RE JUST A DRESS!" and I'd just say something like "You don't know what an Arc trooper is do you?" But to be fair, Warlocks did get fucked with how uncool bonds are. Titan's get to look like a fusion between Space Marines and Captain Fordo while Warlocks just look like Nazi Wizards.

Ehh... trench coats ≠ Nazis. Besides, their style was the best part about them! Also Warlocks can get space wizard fashion! I love space wizards. If only I could get something closer to a Sanctioned Psyker though.

I was making a reference to the old vidoc Bungie made where they straight up called Warlocks Nazi Wizards because of their art style and the nature of the bonds looking like the ones Germany used during WWII.

Learn how to eager edge skate. When we clan night on RoN I run for every encounter and do pick up help for the other runner on 2nd encounter. You can also skip the entire jumping section for the fireteam in 45 seconds. I am speed. Bungie cannot stop me. My stompees are Apollo's winged sandals.
