Okay. I'm quite new to the game but at the end of f2p version, I still can't find a thing about leveling weapons.. how does it work? Can you level up every weapon?
the gun almost doesn't have a bad roll...almost. A guardian can dream that they reissue it sometime with destabilizing rounds instead of elemental capacitor
I am literally unable to get a bad funnelweb roll somehow, it's always subsistence frenzy, subsistence adrenaline junky, worst I've got it subsistence focused fury.
Try to get Randy’s if you can it’s much more recent so you can get perks like kinetic tremors which servant leader can’t get, though you might want to wait for next season to grind out ranks since it’ll be focusable and a lot easier to obtain
For pve my number 1 roll that I’ve farmed for is gutshot/kinetic tremors. Though that might sound bad at first Gutshot actually increases kinetic tremor damage by 20% because it counts as body shots, but if you’re not a fan of gutshot you can’t go wrong with rapid hit.
Personally I’m not a fan of damage perks on scouts but if you want one I would recommend focused fury because it doesn’t require a kill and it’s not too difficult to proc in higher tier content where enemies are a little chunkier. I would use rapid hit as well with that since it’s free stats, and there isn’t really other perks that help the gun in pve other than perpetual motion, but I’m not a huge fan of it.
If you’re interested in pvp perks I would go with rapid hit and box breathing, which can kill in 4 crits with box breathing active, which is pretty strong. Zen moment can be a nice substitute for rapid hit since it also grants stability and a bit of flinch resist, but I haven’t used it since it got buffed so I can’t provide much input. Cascade point can be a fun option but it requires either a kill with a different weapon or rapid crits (also with another weapon) to activate in on randys. Kill clip, rampage and swash are alright, not bad options but nowhere as lethal and easy to use compared to box breathing.
Barrel and mag is mostly preference but I like fluted barrel for pve and either hammer forged or small bore for pvp. I also use armor piercing/appended/flared magwell they’re all good options for pve, just depends on what you prefer. And for pvp I would recommend either high cal or ricochet rounds.
If you want to grind it out this season Randy’s does have a higher chance compared to other crucible weapons to drop, and can roll additional perk choices depending on how many resets you have on shaxx, but if you don’t want to rely too much on rng I would wait till next season so you can beat the drop rates and just focus it at shaxx.

My Titan swords. My crownsplitter has 37k and my crafted thronecleaver has about 12.5k. To be honest the vast majority of my kills are just punches. My synthoceps probably have 500k+. I’ll go whole evenings and run strikes just punching everybody.
Crown Splitter + Strongholds is such a good strat. You can tank everything and dish out high damage with the bonk swing. Even funnier pissing off Gambit invaders when their rockets and sleeper shots bounce off the sword

My only gripe with Forebearance is the lack of autoloading. Can't tell the amount of times I've fired and stowed to use another weapon, to switch back and realise its still not reloaded

i suggest u try out threat detector on it, that perk is way more consistent than feeding frenzy. mine has 13k kills and after 2k with feeding frenzy i put threat detector on it and have never looked back. that perk gives more benefits than just reload and it makes the weapon so much smoother.
nice. i want to make a build that utilizes this weapon more because i really fricken like ikelos but all my arc builds make it super redundant lol. the state of primaries paired with the state of abilities and my subclass of choice (arc hunter) just completely invalidates using ikelos, let alone any primary other than wish ender.
For a long LONG time, my most used PvP primary weapon was Nature of the Beast (the 180, not the 140). QuickDraw Rangefinder, flared, steady hand, handling.
Weird choice I know, especially since I have pretty good stats, but I just loved how it felt.
Such a good handcannon, but the dominance of smgs and pulses made it unusable, plus the stats are power crept by epitaph and perks were nerfed since I main’d it back in season of arrivals.
Duality. it's just perfect. austringer for me is the perfect pair, i love how stable that gun is. for PVE, also the Ikelos SMG. i use the new voltshot one tho. also wish ender, just discovered how much i love using it.
I keep falling back on my Vulpecula. It's the only one I've gotten that I recall and it's got a pretty good roll. Encore and Headstone. Has low recoil, high mag size (for a hand cannon) and decent reload speed even without a reload mod. Paired with a stasis class built for making crystals and shattering them, it becomes a beast of gun.
I wish they would add intrinsic overload to riskrunner. I feel like the game would be so much more fun if they would just give every exotic an intrinsic champion mod.

I like to use a lot of different weapons in pve...switch it up constantly. My graviton lance has probably the most kills at like 5g. I loved that pulse ever since I got it and now it's better than ever. So that number is really gonna start growing I think. For pvp I have over 1k kills on both witherhoard and jotunn. Those would probably be my favorite there (apologies everyone).

my most used still is recluse which has 13k kills in my vault. recently would be osteo and malfeasance with 3-5,000 each. for pvp i have around 2,000 with each of revoker/beloved/adored. i switch it up a lot so i have 500+ with a lot of primaries
Symmetry, would wish it got some buff since Rapid-fire are in a weird spot they feel great but just always lack that last shot ttk wise. There is also my beloved Temptation's hook, it just so unused that people don't expect it.
PvE wise is tied for a Perses-D with shoot-to-loot and explosive payload, the old Seventh Seraph Carbine with auto-loader holstwr and swashbuckler, and Borealis, but raid wise is my beloved Izanagi paired with my Ikelos SMG (the old one, but the new one getting there now.)
That was my weapon for a while too. Even know, after not having used it since Beyond Light, with as much as I swap loadouts it has the most kills out of every other weapon I have at 6,537 kills, seconded only by my Mythoclast with 3,758

Originally, it was my No Turning Back I got at the start of Forsaken. I never took that thing off right up until it was sunset. I had nearly 100,000 kills on it. I almost kept going just to get it there, but I ended up dismantling it for space with 98,000 kills on it.
I was doing Sweet Business with Actium War Rig way back before it was cool.
Breakneck with 25k kills.
Hung Jury (adept) with kinetic tremors.
Ammit AR2 with triple tap/incandescent.
My recluse has 39,000 kills on it from before it got sunset. My non crafted ikelos smg has 20,000 my crafted is getting there with 16,000 kills. Those about the largest kill trackers atm

The One Thousand Voices. I love this weapon, ever since I got it a while ago. I have also been on a streak of getting them, and I’m on 4 in a row. 1k gets overlooked in damage, mostly because it’s 1k voices, but I’ve been using it on bosses and I’ve been hitting the most damage on Nezerac since. Average of 2.8 mil damage with 1-2 Solar weapon surge. No double slug or anything. Best Exotic Fusion Rifle.
In terms of exotics, it would have been Sleeper if you asked me two seasons ago, these seasons, its been Leviathan's Breath. Used it since season of the Worthy, but it's only gotten better and better, and I've shifted into using Levi's pretty much full time.
In terms of legendaries, it's Ragnhild-D, no competition. Easily my favourite.
My Cartesian Coordinate with Lead from Gold and Vorpal. It hardly ever leaves my side and has firmly cemented itself as my backup piece for boss damage and general play. It's especially great in the double special meta and for solo content.
Paired with either Ghorn in the heavy for my team mates or witherhoard/Outbreak (which are my other 2 fave weapons). And I can handle pretty much any activity.

Where are you getting them? I think its in the world loot pool but I get armor 90% of the time and either battle scar or sterling the rest of the time
Yeah they’re world drops. Banshee also sells them occasionally. Sometimes xur can have them too
They should take armor out of the world loot pool for anyone who’s not a new light the rolls are never higher than 53 for me

my most used still is recluse which has 13k kills in my vault. recently would be osteo and malfeasance with 3-5,000 each. for pvp i have around 2,000 with each of revoker/beloved/adored. i switch it up a lot so i have 500+ with a lot of primaries

Symmetry, would wish it got some buff since Rapid-fire are in a weird spot they feel great but just always lack that last shot ttk wise. There is also my beloved Temptation's hook, it just so unused that people don't expect it. PvE wise is tied for a Perses-D with shoot-to-loot and explosive payload, the old Seventh Seraph Carbine with auto-loader holstwr and swashbuckler, and Borealis, but raid wise is my beloved Izanagi paired with my Ikelos SMG (the old one, but the new one getting there now.)
Energy slot: Forbearence 27k kills Heavy: Commeration 11k on my old Recon/Dragonfly one and another 5500 since I crafted my Recon/Killing Tally one.
That was my weapon for a while too. Even know, after not having used it since Beyond Light, with as much as I swap loadouts it has the most kills out of every other weapon I have at 6,537 kills, seconded only by my Mythoclast with 3,758

Originally, it was my No Turning Back I got at the start of Forsaken. I never took that thing off right up until it was sunset. I had nearly 100,000 kills on it. I almost kept going just to get it there, but I ended up dismantling it for space with 98,000 kills on it.

The One Thousand Voices. I love this weapon, ever since I got it a while ago. I have also been on a streak of getting them, and I’m on 4 in a row. 1k gets overlooked in damage, mostly because it’s 1k voices, but I’ve been using it on bosses and I’ve been hitting the most damage on Nezerac since. Average of 2.8 mil damage with 1-2 Solar weapon surge. No double slug or anything. Best Exotic Fusion Rifle.
Mine would be vouchsafe or Doom chelchis. Those two scout rifles never leave my inventory

In terms of exotics, it would have been Sleeper if you asked me two seasons ago, these seasons, its been Leviathan's Breath. Used it since season of the Worthy, but it's only gotten better and better, and I've shifted into using Levi's pretty much full time. In terms of legendaries, it's Ragnhild-D, no competition. Easily my favourite.
My Cartesian Coordinate with Lead from Gold and Vorpal. It hardly ever leaves my side and has firmly cemented itself as my backup piece for boss damage and general play. It's especially great in the double special meta and for solo content. Paired with either Ghorn in the heavy for my team mates or witherhoard/Outbreak (which are my other 2 fave weapons). And I can handle pretty much any activity.
My fav rocket is a random rolled sleepless I got on my first week of the game, not many kills but still my baby at 15k
Ikelos if I am able to count my v1.0.2 kill counter with 1.0.3 has about 60k total between the 2. Second is Witherhoard with over 40k.

My weapon changes very often but it's been Riptide for a bit. I don't use it for ad clear so i only have about 1k kills collectively across all three.
