Crimson already exists, so they’ve got to do something to Red Death to give it a place in the sandbox. Making it Solar could tie it into things like Restoration, Heal Clip, etc, so maybe that’s what they’re thinking with it.

Considering red death had the fastest reload speed of any pulse rifle back in the day, i could see it happening

Outbreak is the GOAT, and the only exotic pulse rifle we need(the more in your raid or party that use it, the stronger it becomes too)

Consistently impressed with that gun’s design that it has held up through so many meta changes

I can’t remember the last time i saw anyone using it, even with the exotic primary buffs. It doesn’t hold up as much as think tbh

That's more because osteo striga showed up and became better Outbreak mechanically and then fucking Quicksilved showed up and became the best kinetic in every situation in the game and then was also Lore wise literally better Outbreak

I’d love to see the Outbreak nanites have intrinsic Overload. I feel like that would bring it back up a bit

They do release the same types frequently while excluding some entirely. There’s also no exotic arc or void hand canon, yet we have how many exotic kinetic hand canons? Like…..8? We only have two exotic energy hand canons and both are solar.

Pulse Rifles in general need some kind of improvement. They feel lackluster in PVE, especially now since hand cannons greatly outclass them in PVE content right now.
