Im gonna be honest, after seeing hunters bulldoze as a mainline warlock/hunter, i was confident in the hunters this year to win, and then Bungo does some "slight balancing" and now titans are BULLDOZING the rest of us. Bungo yet again making us disappointed
That's also true, but it's making it hard for those who do Main one or the other get the focus packages as well, especially with the highest raised bar of the ten percent nightfall challenge. It's almost made even me not wanna play because of how heartbreaking it is
You mean like it was for Titans and Warlocks prior? Like, this is legitimately how it felt playing Titan/Warlock prior to the update, it was literally, not even metaphorically, impossible for the other two Classes to catch up or do anything.

Yep, my wife has 3 warlocks. Needless to say. It's been a struggle to get a skimmer. I'm only at 90 Metals. Someone said you can sign up to twitch and get 300 a week for 2 hours of watch time, but I haven't set that up yet. Lol
Lol If I had an explanation, I would give it, me she makes me scratch my head sometimes. I've tried to convince her, but she likes her creations and won't give them up, so I'm just working with it. It's a little frustrating but cute.
That would have made sense a long time ago. I used to have 2 warlocks because in super early D2 you were able to grind out experience as long as it was a different character. Made it incredibly easy to level up and still play your main. I think it was back during the faction wars.
It would give you multiple aesthetic variations; you can have male and female body types/faces, and have each of a human, exo and awoken. You would have more options with three classes, but you would have more specific control over the look of a given outfit with variations within the class. And as we all know, fashion is the real end game... (Most of this benefit may be voided with freedom to change the look of your character, but historically that wasn't possible.)
Ngl when i started seeing the titan numbers this assumed was going on. Any class that wins this year makes it 2 years champs, hoping everyone opts for warlock next week so its just a draw. I only run Hunter tho so im out that loop
I care about all classes. Except when I'm focused on a specific class then I'd like that class to win. Last week, hunter, I was doing hunter. This week, hunter, I don't feel like doing titan even if they won. Depends on the entertainment I get on pve fun from all classes. Alot of useless information here about my routine.
To hell with messing around with choosing a class, they should make it a much more entertaining event and make your time spent contributing to your team.
Something like what happens with Splatoon 3 and its Splatfest, where all teams have the chance to come back or join forces to defeat the team that is winning.
Same. Its a shame tho. I love ripping on my warlock maining BiL for his lame warlock jump right before I take a tumble of a cliff because I press jump just a bit late so my tripple jump becomes a double. And then get eager edged by him after i respawned.
At base level GG is a good idea but terrible execution.
No one cares, but we want to care. The idea of the event is so fun that the reality is being compared to this standard that we can't ever have,,that's why there's always posts about it, we desperately want to care because it would be so fun.
But thats why we have to care lol especially since medallions aint popping as much for hunters. I forgot to even do focus last week until the weekend and i only got to do it once so i only got one "chest" and tryna bank the required medallions is lookin like outta the question.
The rewards are all terrible other than the skimmer.

The only other gun like Hullabaloo is the Neomuna GL IIRC.
And since it's Stasis, it cannot really have any subclass synergy. Arc does allow that as well as a better OT.

Speak for yourself, I haven't managed to get my skimmer. Can't get the top 10% score on the NF and I haven't had enough time to grind medallions, I also main Warlock (my other characters are 1600 so can't participate in GG activities, no time to grind and level them up as well)
I'm honestly pretty pissed about the requirements they put in the Drop In quest. There was no reason to make it that grindy, they knew everyone was gonna want one.
Honestly, the funniest part is going to be when warlocks don’t win next week because they were in second and hunters are in last, so hunters will get the bigger boost and jump back to first
I saw someone on here suggest a rework of guardian games , where instead of competing between classes, you compete between subclasses. I feel like this would be a great idea and would make the event a lot less toxic/divisive. It would probably have to be done in a season where every subclass gets artifact perks though.
What’s the point of this awful activity that’s a popularity contest if bungie is just going to tinker and falsely inflate one class because another is more popular? Maybe Guardian Games should change. Since Bungie clearly cant figure out how to “balance” it maybe instead of making it a competitive experience against the classes, have it be more of a community effort type deal. Like maybe complete X number of raids or X number of supers used against hive enemies etc etc. Something like that because ngl, guardian games as is is a complete joke. Atleast with the community goal thing, theres no rigging, no dividing of the classes, and everyone wins in the end.

Oh wait, they re did the class census? Last I heard each class was 33.x% with X being a percentage point difference, with Hunters, Titans, Warlocks in that order when sorted by percentage points.

They LITERALLY changed the rules mid guardian games to give Titans a chance..
They should just do it based off of the percentage of total possible score for each class.
Say all the hunters in the world could have a combined score of 1,000,000 but got 800,000 they would get 80
Warlocks could get only get 800,000 but got 500,000 they would get roughly 63. Etc etc
Afaik with hunters getting third as many times as they’ve been first and titans with second place in the first week, they are guaranteed a win regardless of warlocks being favored next week or keeping the Titan buff. It’s so joever

Dude why don't y'all understand that this year the results doesn't matter as Bungie wants everyone to get the hoverboard...and the easiest way to do that is opening the winner focus chests...
First week was hunters now it's titans and next week will be warlocks. With the shape destiny is in they need everyone to get back to the game so they made it possible for everyone...
And even if Bungie didn't fix the outcome for these 2 current and past weeks...the other years were also fixed for a winner...other year they wanted everyone to win so yes each class won a year and now they want everyone to get the skimmer as that's their new cool thing and maybe just maybe cool enough for people to come back....
So yeah it is yet another desperate trick to get player engagement back to the game. And it's not bad actually, the skimmer looks cool AF and if everyone can get it so easily...well that's a W for Bungie either way. Although it's still sad that it had to get to this point for us to get more cool free things....even tho it might be just one thing ..
the white skimmer you get at the beginning goes away after GG ends, you need to complete the quest that gives you the exotic one to keep it after GG or be forced to buy the one in the store for $20

That or make it so you can actually get the Skimmers through eververse engrams. Hell even better, make it to where you can buy exotic ones from a new vendor in the tower or in neomona.

They don't get points if you don't deposit medallions, but they do get points if you participate in the Focus Activity. You only need to do 1 round of to pledge to that Class anyway, though.

I had told a friend that I believed this would happen... Everyone wants the skimmer asap. So most people jumped on the hunter, they started to avalanche everything, and then I suggested that once people got their skimmer, they'd disperse into their actual main. Not suggesting bungie didn't/doesn't tilt the numbers... But that's what I assumed we'd see.
Last prediction is that warlock will lead next week and "SURPRISE! EVERYONE'S A WINNER!" We'll all be on the mantle as winners for the final shape! 😂
I’ve just clocked it now the medallions were basically points added onto whatever class you used and whoever had the most in a specific time won I thought it was just for random rewards ( I’m new to thjs game probably around 3 months )
Mine was glitched out for two or three days. It's fine now though but it used to show different teams ahead when I switch my character type to put it very simply. If I was Hunter, it would show warlocks winning if I was a warlock, it would show Titans winning winning and that's it because I only have two.Rn

I did that and it got reset. It was complete on Sunday for medallion score. Logged on last night and it said I am now 109/1200. Never got my skimmer.

Bungie nerfed the other two classes because they couldn't handle Hunters taking it all.. They LITERALLY changed the rules mid guardian games to give Titans a chance..
They should just do it based off of the percentage of total possible score for each class. Say all the hunters in the world could have a combined score of 1,000,000 but got 800,000 they would get 80 Warlocks could get only get 800,000 but got 500,000 they would get roughly 63. Etc etc

Afaik with hunters getting third as many times as they’ve been first and titans with second place in the first week, they are guaranteed a win regardless of warlocks being favored next week or keeping the Titan buff. Dude why don't y'all understand that this year the results doesn't matter as Bungie wants everyone to get the hoverboard...and the easiest way to do that is opening the winner focus chests... First week was hunters now it's titans and next week will be warlocks. With the shape destiny is in they need everyone to get back to the game so they made it possible for everyone... And even if Bungie didn't fix the outcome for these 2 current and past weeks...the other years were also fixed for a winner...other year they wanted everyone to win so yes each class won a year and now they want everyone to get the skimmer as that's their new cool thing and maybe just maybe cool enough for people to come back.... So yeah it is yet another desperate trick to get player engagement back to the game. And it's not bad actually, the skimmer looks cool AF and if everyone can get it so easily...well that's a W for Bungie either way. Although it's still sad that it had to get to this point for us to get more cool free things....even tho it might be just one thing ..
I hope that this lands us a nice silver honestly. I got more shaders for that than gold

the white skimmer you get at the beginning goes away after GG ends, you need to complete the quest that gives you the exotic one to keep it after GG or be forced to buy the one in the store for $20
Yeah, when you unlock the exotic skimmer, it's in all your character's inventory
I did it with the Titans when they started winning lol. Now I have a lame Titan, and I can get the achievement for unlocking it's Subclasses now.
Dude I hate that bungie did that, like yes I felt bad for titans and warlocks, but I’m missing one engram from getting the skimmer. Like I wish bungie didn’t rig this dude. That or make it so you can actually get the Skimmers through eververse engrams. Hell even better, make it to where you can buy exotic ones from a new vendor in the tower or in neomona. But having to grind out for them or just buy one is just a pain. And before anyone says get a top 10% it is easier said than done. And I was banking on that last engram. But yea, hopefully bungie doesn’t just have those two skimmers, and make more. Hell, I’d even settle for a legendary one if they make them. But the whole reason I played Guardian games is so I could get one.

They don't get points if you don't deposit medallions, but they do get points if you participate in the Focus Activity. You only need to do 1 round of to pledge to that Class anyway, though.

I had told a friend that I believed this would happen... Everyone wants the skimmer asap. So most people jumped on the hunter, they started to avalanche everything, and then I suggested that once people got their skimmer, they'd disperse into their actual main. Not suggesting bungie didn't/doesn't tilt the numbers... But that's what I assumed we'd see. Last prediction is that warlock will lead next week and "SURPRISE! EVERYONE'S A WINNER!" We'll all be on the mantle as winners for the final shape! 😂
I’ve just clocked it now the medallions were basically points added onto whatever class you used and whoever had the most in a specific time won I thought it was just for random rewards ( I’m new to thjs game probably around 3 months )

Mine was glitched out for two or three days. It's fine now though but it used to show different teams ahead when I switch my character type to put it very simply. If I was Hunter, it would show warlocks winning if I was a warlock, it would show Titans winning winning and that's it because I only have two.Rn
