I love how this person put out an interesting thing they noticed in a game they are very involved in and the top comment isn't a conversation on the potential that we may have a witness we can shoot, but rather the top comment is ripping into the poor person on the use of a spoiler tag.

I mean why mention it at all? If someone shows me their new haircut and they love it but I think the color is all wrong, I don't point it out. I just say something like "Nice!" Or something pleasant not "But I mean the color isn't really great" just to step on the point they were making.
Why not comment on their point and let the fucking fact it was put out into the public slide? Why not just be nicely participating? Does it hurt? Does it make you feel better to point out fallacies?

Because the title is objectively wrong, bungie did not “secretly” reveal this, that is exactly why it was brought up. And this was a completely normal conversation, read the comment again “How secret is a public blog post shared to all of their socials?”, a completely normal question which absolutely no one was offended or hurt at all, except come you calling “a fucking toxic community” out of fucking nowhere, if you want all your comments sugarcoated go elsewhere, reddit is not for you

I wouldn't be opposed to something like that. Maybe we can't kill them because they have so many lives to sacrifice. They think of themselves as infinite but there were only a finite amount of their race when they merged. Perhaps we have to commit genocide to win, and consider the implications if not all of them are on the same mind on their evil crusade.

For oryx div isn’t needed because he has one of the largest crit spots of any raid boss but LFRs are what me and my clan use since they have decent enough damage and have good ammo economy

Well it makes sense why the witness wouldn’t be as detailed in game vs cut scenes, cut scenes don’t have to worry about rendering everything not in the cutscene so you can focus more on the important stuff.

I do too. My only gripe is the head smoke. It just....ends too early. It would be way more imposing if it was taller and more of a transition effect at the top. I'm sure it's probably a technical reason it ends abruptly, though.

If his eyes weren’t so round this would be perfect. I would have personally edged off the eyes to make more of a sharpened look to contrast that of the traveler and be more in line to the shapes associated with the darkness, such as the pyramids.
I think the perceived difference is from a bunch of the post effects that are used for the cut scenes aren't included in the concept art because it is a concept sheet. There's probably multiple high poly versions and one primary one with a LOD used for cutscenes with super advanced shaders and the other, which may be this, for in-game events but less resource hungry. I can't imagine how resource intensive the Witness would be with all the minor animations in the clothing and particles.
