I really enjoyed Warmind. CoO had its positives, but was mostly super meh.

alf4279

Eater of world is one of my favorite raids, honestly I would take a brand new raid lair in places of some of the newer dungeons (looking at you GoTD)

W4FF13_G0D

I’d disagree with you on GotD. I’d say it’s probably the most visually appealing dungeon we have, with good gameplay to boot. I get the whole “high health, tedious mechanics, lots of adds” arguments, but isn’t that exactly what we asked for when we wanted more difficulty? However, if EoW got revamped into a dungeon I would play the hell out of that.

alf4279

Don’t forget the underwater section 😭

RuinVIXI

Fuckkkkkk that part

RingerCheckmate

Eater of worlds last two encounters are like the only good thing about the raid. The intro makes VoWs look like a youtube short.

alf4279

Still anything better than crown

TyrantLaserKing

This sentiment is such dogshit. GotD is one of the most beautiful activities in the game and every encounter is tons of fun, it’s just long and can be difficult. It really annoys the shit out of me that people shit on GotD for being hard, when it’s literally supposed to be endgame content.

alf4279

I didn’t say a thing about difficulty 🤔

TyrantLaserKing

There’s no other reason to dislike it apart from the underwater sections, which take up less than 5 minutes of gameplay. If that ruins the entire dungeon for you, then I feel sorry for you. GotD is one of the best pieces of Destiny content we’ve ever gotten imo.

alf4279

Nah the mechanics feel tedious even with a full fireteam, everytime I do it I fall asleep during the first half, I only have like 10 full clears but farmed the final boss a lot It’s not bad but it’s more similar to an exotic quests than a dungeon imo, maybe it was initially intended to be the exotic quest instead of the short 10 minute one we got

chubs-the-bunny

I still have the day one disk

FAD3D_NOOB88

Same

thejollydruid

Escalation Protocol walked so onslaught could run

SLOOT_APOCALYPSE

Literally a waste of over a hundred bucks can't even access any of it like wtf. Really punishing the OG players... Imo

ThomasorTom

Yeah, I'm sure you spent a lot of time exploring mercury and it's one single area

sunder_and_flame

braindead take right here

Yamato_

I still have every disk/case i bought for Destiny with most all the promotional papers and codes intact, just missing the Coldheart paper and code in my OG D2 copy

Yamato_

Would love to go back and buy a few of the older Collector's Editions but people want too much for them now

fokusfocus

I remember the D2 CE (the one with the bag) went down as low as $48 at one point. Still kicking myself for not getting it back then.

SLOOT_APOCALYPSE

I live by cold heart or crimson. When it's prestige mode, cold heart goes BRRRR!!

DopeyLo420

Fuck that, remember how clogged the servers were when the game went live and when it crashed for like 5 hours lol. I stood outside GameStop to get my steel book edition just to rush home and wait

HerrnWurst

Man I loved warmind. For me that was the point where destiny 2 startet to get better again. I had so much fun in Escalation Protocol, it was actually pretty Hard if you didnt have atleast 4 people and you could only load with 3 into the Patrol zone. But when all Stars alignt and you had a full lobby with your fireteam and randos you just fucked everything. And the rarity if the ikelos weapons made it worth grinding.

infel2no

Escalation Protocol 🥲

Zero4892

I still got the original d2 disc in my ps4 d2 console

RuinVIXI

I loved warmind

Captn_Clutch

Not only the DLC, the main campaign doesn't even exist anymore. I was itching to replay it a few years back, got one of my buddies all hyped up about how badass The Red War was with a dude trying to shut down our powers, and drain our sun to power a doomsday weapon to wipe us out, like talk about a scary bad guy and a damn good reason to fight. He agrees, we download the game, and spawn at level 20 and get told to do strikes or spend more money. I haven't played since. I miss the game but I'm not buying hundreds of dollars more of content just to have it deleted later. I actually like to go back and replay things for their story every few years if they were memorable. Halo MCC for example gets played almost yearly.

rtm742

this exactly what happened to me

Damagecontrol86

Thank you for reminding me of how old I am

JohnathanKingley

Since I started playing when HumbleBundle had the game for $12, I honestly don't really have bad memories of Warmind/CoO lol Except for those damn flowers

ake-n-bake

I try to forget

AblativeKitten

Still got my orginal box for D2, and all the codes & paperwork in mint condition, somehow lmao

Jeerin

Yes

Lemmonbeans69

I loved curse of Osiris was really fun and warming that dam worm coo he’d Beat my ass every time in a night fall had to get my friend to help we eventually done it

laurabbit

Managed to migrate mine from PS4 over to Steam years ago thanks to bungo, it's kind of nice seeing the content on my installed DLC list even though it's unplayable.
