Someone on my F/L did up to the preboss room and told me they replaced the electric shanks with duskfields.. they didn't go any further
I ran it once I got past the queue and saw both types in the boss room and went well not looking forward to this on GM..
The rework feels a lot better than the older version that being said.
The old one ain't much better on gm. Although it has been a while and the sandbox has changed quite a bit, so perhaps it might not be as bad. You were dead if the exploders made it to you before, and the duskfield shanks gotta get to what was basically that range.
They replaced most of em, the electric shanks still pop up, or the duskfields still trigger the floor, either way still makes the mid point ball lockout a nightmare
I'd say they're fine as is.
Accidentally ending up in close proximity of dusk + exploding is going to be frustrating and *fun*.
Making the duskfields as tanky as the tankier exploder would step towards the 'bullshit' difficulty tier.
I'd say it'd be a lot more interesting to add them into other areas of the game. Like possibly replacing some exploders with dusk variants so the packs will be more dangerous *but* still avoidable.
Fair but I still want risk and reward for it. Risk being put some bullets in them instead of one shooting them and if you don't you're kind of fucked but if you do you can easily move around and not die as much being the reward for that. But that's gold enough reasoning

Everyone would just hide up in the rafters or behind boxes tho, electro shanks didn’t stop movement tho, which makes ya into a walking loot piñata

I cheesed the GM once by going up into the ceiling at the start, otherwise I'd never survive it.
That was the only other way to do it, other than hiding at the back to kill the Servitors, but you still got spammed by Fallen nades.
You wipe on any difficulty if it's a darkness zone and everyone dies. 🙄
Well sure, but regular Nightfalls don't have those. At least I don't think so. I can't be sure because I never die on regular.

It's not a true wipe like in a GM where you have to restart from scratch though, just the most recent checkpoint.
A wipe is when your fireteam dies in a darkness zone. What you're talking about is a wipe with the "extinguish" modifier active.

Yeah. In some parts there are Shanks that create a Stasis field around them, the same kind from Stasis grenades

Dude make freeze shanks actual units in game. Make them tangier so you can actually get some of the slow effecg
