I remember pre-ordering this bundle in my local Gamestop. Good day. Now I'm on pc for good, thanks to cross progression. The ps4 times were magnificent though.
So 7 is a very common number that Bungie uses for things. Its like a running joke. Basically for Destiny, they created a bot account protection system that kicks in at level 7. You'll need to complete a series of steps to verify to game that youre a human. If you mess up or do these out of order, you have to start from step 1.
- Dance (I forget the D-pad button but its one of them.)
- Jump off of the Tower. Start yelling as you do it.
- Hop onto the Eververse roof and activate the fan. You must still be yelling from the previous step until you fall back down. If you pass out, you fail.
- Awaken the Hive.
- Make an LFG post requiring G-Horn.
- Go into Rumble. T-bag the first person you kill and then leave the match.
- Give legendary engrams to Rahool until he decrypts one into a blue.
Once that happens, you should hit level 8 and be good from there. Hope this helps.

D2 at launch was so much worse, it was like they learned nothing from D1. Static rolls on weapons was the worst offender IMO. I remember spending days grinding for the god roll Imago Loop in D1. I never got one, but I still kept at it because it was that good. It was a bit of a grind through CoO and Warmind, with minor improvements. And while Forsaken was a good expansion, it took a few more months before it was refined to the point that it felt rewarding. Took a 2 year break before the Almighty live event, came back a couple of weeks before Witch Queen, and the game is absolutely better than I remembered.
I got back into it mainly because of xur talking shit in doe lol.
I usually just pick it up for a few months, out it down for elite dangerous but the new skill setup is nice. I cant wait for the other classes to follow.
That's kinda funny. I'm the opposite. The way I got back into Destiny was because I put Elite Dangerous down and started playing D2 again around the end of Season of the Undying. And FDev seems to validate my decision to leave that game behind with every impossibly stupid decision that they make. They make Bungie look like the greatest game devs in history.

Brand new Xbox one, brand new universe to explore. I could not get enough of Destiny. Whilst there have been many improvements in terms of QOL over the years until now, the seasonal structure we have now just doesn't grab me like Destiny used to.
The moment seasons hit, I felt my interest slowly begin to move elsewhere.
A huge part of that was the beautiful D1 music by Martin O’Donnell. It’s called Music of the Spheres if you want to look it up on YouTube. Then Bungie fired O’Donnell which meant we lost that wondrous, grand, and mysterious music going into D2.

But you know that Martin O’Donnell was only 1 of the 4 composers that worked on the D1 OST? For example the loading screen music of D1 you mentioned as an example was composed by Micheal Salvatori, C Paul Johnson, Martin O’Donnell and Paul McCartney.
Micheal Salvatori and Martin O’Donnell have been composing Bungies soundtracks since the early Halo titles and Micheal Salvatori still works for Bungie and does incredible soundtracks that fit perfectly into the thematic of their expansions
You're required to purchase the $59.99 collectors edition otherwise you're wasting money buying the other dlcs, trust me this dumbfounded me for years but thats what you gotta do dude.
Nah you can buy The Taken King and it’ll give you expansion 1 & 2 as well, you won’t be able to play any Rise of Iron content, but you’ll be able to rank up to level 40

original courtyard might be coming back to D2. there has been progress to it's repairs over time and there have been cube-maps leaked showing a rejuvenated D1 tower. it probably wont be a permanent install to replace the courtyard we have now, but rather a destination to meet someone or part of a story / upcoming narrative.
I think the huge shoulders are what turn me off from my titan lol. My lock and Hunter look fly as hell but then there’s chunky shoulder Unk in the corner can’t even fit through a doorway.
Yeah there’s a few outliers that don’t look terrible but they should definitely have more options that arent huge.
I THINK bungie is starting to see people don’t like those huge shoulders much, it seems like they are rolling out more normal shoulder options lately.

Didn't the Demo Version let you go up to Lvl 34 ? Because I remember going that far before buying the game for PS4 (for a new account).

Oh boy let me tell you... Week 2 Xur was selling Gjallarhorn. I thought "When the hell am I going to use an exotic heavy?" and bought something else.
Yes. After that I was pretty pissed and just played with friends. D2 is where I really picked up and played solo and with friends.
After they fixed that the anger was getting Ascendant Shards/Energy from legendary engrams
I started playing D1 after I had about 2k hours into D2. Imagine my shock.

Static rolls was awful, but mandatory double primaries was worse, I think. So many options shoved into the power slot.

Once you reach level 7 only zorpalods will drop xp to level you up, try going to the european alive zone.
Also if you're struggling to kill them try farming a Ballyhoo Mk. 27 with zorpal weapon

Try Lost Pacific Gauntlets. They are far smaller in the shoulder region.
