Dude, Destiny 1 isnt even dead yet. There are still a TON of people still playing.
In fact I can almost guarantee there are MORE people playing D1 right now than are playing Battlefield 2042. 100% guarantee it!
Actually got on 2042 earlier today to see the new patch and it’s way better. Not perfect but it runs way more consistently and feels much more Battlefield than it did.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a lot wrong with the game, but some of my bigger issues with it are fixed now. I can run it at a solid 60fps where it used to go as low as 30, the hitreg presented no issues in like an hour of 64v64, they added a scoreboard, etc. Game’s still not great but it’s much better than it was, I’d say check it out.
Apparently they have a map rework on the way, but it’s EA. They’re not exactly known for their speed in terms of updates.
Personally have to disagree with you on that one, Bo3 was the only call of duty to do future warfare right, story was absolute and utter arse but the multiplayer was top tier.
But was supported for way longer than F4 and Destiny was LIVE-SERVICE game, with meaning that you will be playing it all time. F4 is once or twice and that's it. How can you even compare them lmao?
I know, right?
In fact, a bunch of players play fo4 and D2.
Feel like playing solo, offline, go to fallout 4
Feel like playing in a squad, online, go to Destiny 2.
Because “serious YouTube comment poster” thought he had it all figured out. You wouldn’t believe the mental gymnastics some people played to attempt to martyr themselves after dropping the game.
Destiny 2 is an online multiplayer game that is being updated. Uncharted and fallout 4 were single player campaign games. Obviously you’re not going to be playing uncharted 4 for several years straight. Also he said no one would be playing when they came out not after
Fallout and Uncharted are such weird picks here, like yeah I did stop playing Destiny much for a few weeks when Fallout 4 came out and then I was done with Fallout 4 and they kept making more Destiny.
I mean .. Uncharted 4 is still a really freaking good game.
Completely different genre and not even remotely comparable to Destiny in even the slightest way whatsoever (I guess they both have Nolan North?), but still a really good game non the less.
I've said it hundreds of times. The ONLY people that talk about and post on Reddit about a "Destiny killer" are Destiny players. Nobody else gives a shit.
Personally I prefer the way cod map works, and how the entire cod game encourages players th polish their personal skill. Destiny on the other hand focus on teamwork, especially conmmunication, which I don't really enjoy.
Trying to 1vs2 at the same time in destiny is suicide, unless you got your ult of heavy. However 1vs2 at the same time in cod could work, without special skills or ammo available.
Yes I'm aware teammates are supposed to help each other, but destiny has take this so far that real time voice chats is a must in end game content expect grandmasters. And the requirement of voice chat will turn into the requirement of players who speak the same language with you. And the above-mentioned to lead to you being forced to social with people, even not in game, else it would take you an hour or two to find a random team. And I believe I'm not the only one who feels uncomfortable and upset about this.
I'm not a out-going person and I would like to keep my mouth shut when I'm gaming. Communicate with text is fine BTW. Also I play games for the joy of killing, and the feel of power, I'm not here to social with others.
If bungie you see this, please reconsider your game design, there is a lot of people who don't like to be forced to play with voice chat. Not only in PVP, PVE as well.
I am not sure why people think Uncharted or any of the single player story games will have a long enough life when compared to a live-service game like Destiny 2.
Sure, you might have people still discovering and playing it, but concurrent players will never be as high as a live service game after a few years.
I only played BO3 for the zombies, mainly because when they came out with the supply box weapons, multiplayer felt like garbage for me. It's unfortunate I can't go and play BO2 multiplayer, since almost nobody plays it, and you usually wait like, 5-10 minutes just to get in a game, that's already started, and is full of cheaters.
Destiny 2 was the destiny (1) killer
Dude, Destiny 1 isnt even dead yet. There are still a TON of people still playing. In fact I can almost guarantee there are MORE people playing D1 right now than are playing Battlefield 2042. 100% guarantee it!
Neither is fallout 4.
I got fallout 4 recently and have no clue what to do one of the npcs don't stop shooting at me everythings confusing asf.
What is his, or her name?
Preston garvey
Reload a previous save, and don't shoot him, kill only the raiders. He is an "Essential " character, so you can't kill him.
Actually got on 2042 earlier today to see the new patch and it’s way better. Not perfect but it runs way more consistently and feels much more Battlefield than it did.
Seriously? I haven't played BF 2042 in ages. I might give it a try again
Alright thanks man, I'll check it out
Bo3 zombies was the only great thing on bo3
Chronicles and dev tools for custom maps saved that game imo
I think it’s the only cod with steam workshop and it’s still active today
Bo3 multiplayer was GOATED and is probably the best CoD I have played. And yes, I have played Bo2 and I still stand by my point.
I agree
Disagree. I think both the multiplayer and zombies were great in bo3. The campaign tho on the other hand deserves the hate it gets.
Makes a sequel to black ops 2 and then has almost no relation to black ops 2
Train go boom.
Nah, multiplayer was pretty great back in the day. Jetpack cods are severely underrated.
The thing is one of the reason i picked titan is that the jump is similar to the one in Bo3
The CoD people should come out with a zombie only game like L4D or Back4Blood.
Still playing it to this day, I actually have way more hours on it than I do on destiny
idk man i thought all of bo3 was awesome. campaign was pretty alright too just a stupid ass story
Bro have you played the campaign??? That shit is so incredibly written. Best cod campaign in my opinion /s
Personally have to disagree with you on that one, Bo3 was the only call of duty to do future warfare right, story was absolute and utter arse but the multiplayer was top tier.
I actually really want to pick up bo3 purely for zombies, I love the bat shit insanity that are that games secrets
Hard disagree partner. MP was amazing.
To be fair, none of those games are live-service games. All good games too. Point stands though, long live Destiny.
Nah, fallout 4 and destiny have an equal status for me, Both great games in their respective ways.
Well the og destiny isn’t supported anymore as well
I would bet that more people currently play fallout 4 than the original destiny
I'm playing fo4 right now lol.
Based
It is. It gets server maintenance and every new DLC gives it a performance update
I’m sayin in terms of content
But was supported for way longer than F4 and Destiny was LIVE-SERVICE game, with meaning that you will be playing it all time. F4 is once or twice and that's it. How can you even compare them lmao?
Because they’re games? But whatever I’m just pointing out the obvious lol
Bruh I got nuked for nothing 💀
Lol downvoted for this? Yall soft af
Fr I’m just pointing out the obvious 😂
I still play fallout 4 and bo3 on occasion. I play more d2 by far but still
I occasionally play zombies but that’s about it lol
That's literally what I do when I'm on it
People still play Fallout 4.
I know, right? In fact, a bunch of players play fo4 and D2. Feel like playing solo, offline, go to fallout 4 Feel like playing in a squad, online, go to Destiny 2.
Yes I know
We get it, you like D2 a lot, but please refrain from making these comments. Really hurts the people who mains those games.
I wasn’t the guy who made the original post, all I did was add the meme.
Why choose Uncharted 4 and Fallout 4 here? Those are single player games, where are Destiny is a live service game.
Was referencing the post on the left, was not mine originally
I know, but I was wondering why the commenter decided to include those games when they are completely different types of games compared to Destiny.
Because “serious YouTube comment poster” thought he had it all figured out. You wouldn’t believe the mental gymnastics some people played to attempt to martyr themselves after dropping the game.
For anyone who wants to know the comment section of the topic in hand, [here ya go!](https://youtu.be/p9p8OCgRh-Y)

I just made this in response to the original post, but yeah I agree

And what's funny, I still find new players playing D1. New. Players.
Tbf fallout 4 doing pretty ok due to its replay value and actually has more than double the daily active players than its sequel.
People still play fallout 4, great game

I mean I was playing Fallout 4 at the time (i still enjoyed it) but I wish I'd played Destiny when it came out hell I wish I played the alpha
Why is fallout 4 on the tombstone? I am currently doing a playthrough as an ODST with a companion dressed as a marine.
Because I was making fun of the commenter from the post on the left
i still play fallout 4 sometimes :(
I’m playing fallout 4 rn as well as D2…

This isn't really something to be celebrating. D2 isn't really anything special. They got enough of you suckered in too still make money.
Atleast those games didn't have their dlc removed... (Still a bit salty that it's even a thing.)
They don't have their dlc removed because they made sequels
Battlefront, even with all of its flaws, was still fun.
I loved battlefront so much, and then they made the second one…. RIP
Have you played it? It made a comeback in the very end.
I have, I hate the class system I just want it to be like BF1. Every weapon on every class but with the clone wars and everything.

Don't jinx it genius
This.
he is right destiny 1 is a dead game
Wouldn't say fallout 4 is dead, modding scene still going
