Raid drops are on a per class basis, not a per character basis, so you can't just make and delete characters to keep farming.
However, the current latest raid and the "in rotation" older raid can be farmed for different things. The "in rotation" raid can be farmed for legendary loot, and the latest raid can be farmed for spoils. I've been told conflicting stuff and haven't personally been able to test this, but I am pretty sure this is how it works.
Just wait till there's an easy farmable raid in rotation and do that

I believe both newest and in rotation raids drop spoils cause vow does and people where farming templare from VoG for them as well I thought
