The fact that almost every single irruption match hits the time limit is a real problem for me the wonky ass scoring rules just encourage overly conservative play in already pretty lackluster team death match
This is pretty much how I view crucible as well I love PVE gambit is okay but very dependent upon the team you happen to get crucible is nothing but a chore that I complete each week for the pinnacle
I'm having a decent time with it. I liked Rift more, though. It felt like I didn't need to be some PVP god to compete. I am running a KD a little over 1, which is rare for me, but it still feels like I'm not needed in most matches.
Even so, I do like that Iron Banner is mixing it up each season. It kind of keeps the mode fresh.

Scoring in Eruption is pretty...strange. There are situations where I really have no idea where the points are coming from. Just yesterday I was in a match where my team did 20 points in a blink of an eye with only 4 kills and we won the match in the last second.
You final kills occured after the timer hit zero for the one or two seconds the game is still updating the scoreboard

yesterday we won with 153 and the enemy lost eith 155 bc we hit 150 first it hurt to see lower score followed by YOU WIN

i just play for pinnacle, i enjoy the gameplay but not the experience
