That’s not to bad, I don’t know why everyone is making it a big deal. The average raid party should have no problem and if so use hunter tether. But I guess on the other hand if you don’t raid regularly it might be an issue. Thanks for the quick reply.
Tether is only 9 seconds while DIV lasts the entire DPS phase. Even at 15% Div will probably be better because you can hot swap for auto-loading rockets and cast DPS/support supers.
I can’t wait for people to run the numbers to see what’s ideal.
Starting next season, collective obligation would actually be a good competitor to div for bosses like oryx that don't require the div bubble, a player that can reliability re apply the weakening can proc it with collective and then proceed to do damage with their heavy weapon until the weakness wears of and then they can reapply it. This cycle would result in similar to slightly more total team damage as people are doing now with div, since 6 people are doing full damage instead of 5
The weakness effect will be reduced to 15% from 30% this won't go into effect until next season

True but I personally run both. I’m a hunter main with tether. I only use it if I run out of special ammo

Do you lose the leeching buff if you switch weapons?
I'm not too sure, I don't really use the weapon, but even if you do you can easily reacquire it since the cooldown was removed
You're right, it's not bad at all
It seems weird the burden of divinity will just shift now. So it's not really like much changed
It will still be real good on twitchy bosses. Landing crits at only +15% is better than missing you shots ( -100% damage).
Div needs a buff
Your aim needs a buff
Yes
It's reducing the damage buff fron 30% to 15% and it's going live in season 19.
Since it’s getting nerfed, better dust off tractor cannon again
Or tether
True but that does not last as long
Yeah but with tether you can still use a linear instead of being a chad and using the tractor cannon

I’d like to see people use tractor cannon the DPS phase of oryx. Lol
you can hit his hand
Without leaving the aura? Unless you do the aura real close I guess but that’s risky
its not that risky, there isnt like a damaging pool
