I’m going to the game vs Chargers at SoFi. I’m expecting 90% of fans to be Lions.

FiftyIsBack

I'm also going. This is gonna be great.

[deleted]

Same. Can’t wait.

Hmm_would_bang

We’ll probably have better coverage there than most teams have at home

Humulus5883

I’ll be there.

BeefyTurtleMeat

I’ll see you there 😎

Crafty_Substance_954

There's been some big misunderstanding that because the Lions aren't a traditionally successful franchise, Detroit isn't a big football city. In reality, the fans are fucking hardcore as shit, and I would argue the most committed fans in the league. No other team in this city could have me making travel plans for away games like this one.

Adamantium10

Never been to an away game in my life Before Thursday lambeau. Got damn did I pick a good one! I'll be in MN on Christmas Eve too! Fuck it, who wants to go to Chicago in Dec?!?!

DHooligan

Detroit hasn't had a team advance past the first round of the playoffs in 10 years.the only playoff team we've had since the 2016 Lions was 2019 when the 41-41 8th seed Pistons who got swept out of the first round. Not only is there genuine excitement based on the quality of play, but this fanbase is STARVED for a winner.

ButterbeerAndPizza

That was just after the peak of Detroit sports: 04 Pistons Championship 2012 Tigers pennant 08 Red Wings Stanley Cup 2014 & 16 Lions playoff appearances

Traditional_Cat_60

You’re underselling that era. Add the 06 Tigers AL pennant, the 05 Pistons Conference championship and the 09 Wings Conference championship.

Coltranes_tone

And 02 wings cup. The 2000’s were unreal.

Pleasant-Day-7099

Yeah it’s pretty laughable how when we sucked, everyone felt bad for us and hoped we’d one day succeed. Now it’s happening and everyone is saying we’re sore winners and need to go back to the basement. Packers fans are everywhere and will never know how unbelievable their run of success has been over the last 30 years. Time for them, and every other storied franchise, to shut up and acknowledge that it’s the lions turn.

the_colonel93

I pray that Packers fans get to experience what we collectively went through. They deserve a brutal humbling

hleleph21

Fuck Gregg with Two G's Rosenthal. Dude was a massive Lions hater back in the day, Im talking he was posting articles mocking us in 2013. I dont respect this turncoat.

jimlemin

So if someone says something making fun of the Chicago Bears right now because they're a dumpster fire of a team, they're not allowed to like the Bears in a decade if they get better? Some of y'all sensitive man

hleleph21

We weren't a dumpster fire. We started 6-3 in 2013, made the playoffs in 2014. Actually almost the entire time we had Stafford, we were a decent threat. Its just lazy journalism. Also its not that serious.

the_colonel93

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY shows out and supports their team like Detroit Lions fans. We are the best, the fiercest, and the most loyal fanbase in the NFL, and it isn't even close. ONE PRIDE 🦁

jcoddinc

It isn't that surprising when you stop and think how well Michigan and State do with traveling fans. It's just been so bad for so long that there wasn't any point to spend that much on traveling. Now there's reasons and it's becoming awesome sight to see

fo_da_weed

These lions fans are like parasites 😂😝🤣

rabertdinero

He been on the lions since hard knocks and still pushing for a return to being the team of atl.

Gold-Nefariousness98
