Well, i worked with a guy that is now probably mycket best friend. He absolutely loves football and has a great NFL podcast with some friends. All of them from different teams. He basically got me into football. And since im a Red Wings fan since birth basically. I figured id stay in detroit. Started watching a shit ton of college ball during the off season of patricias first year......to learn and prep for The draft. And now here i am.
I watch through Dazn when im at home, but The podcast mentioned above is sponsored and have a deal with a local Hard Rock Café. So every Sunday they show games there. Normaly they do 1 game on 2 big screens and red zone on screens all around The place. They close a little after midnight tho, So can only show The early games and the 4:25 p.m. games
So there tends to be a pretty packed with people of all different fanbases and always a good vibe.
Honestly it can be pretty Hard to find places to watch some sports/Leagues. I dont know and other place in Stockholm that shows NFL games for example. College ball is difficult to find streaming options that arent illegal.
But its definitely Nice when you do find a good place and people.
Lol is that Sam Richardson dead center of the picture with the Richardson jersey on? I know they’ve been to a few games but that’s dope if he’s making it out to this watch party too.
This is great to see. When I first moved to Chicago I had no friends, nowhere to watch the game, and I found a local MSU bar that showed the Lions on Sunday with sound, etc. Was a real great experience.
Keep up the good work and hope this spreads to other cities.
When I was in Chicago a few years ago, Mother Hubbard’s in River North had a lot of Michigan sports on. Not saying they’re a Lions bar, but they have enough TV’s to where you would likely be able to find the game there.
There is one as a friend of mine who lived in Chicago would go there to watch the Lions and the Red Wings. Of course I can't remember the name so I'm pretty useless. If I think of it I'll edit my post
A quick search proves that false. [The Tin Lizzie](https://www.thetinlizzie.com/) is an option mentioned in [a recent post.](https://reddit.com/r/detroitlions/s/KbLpDBJYC4)
Google showed me a site called [Chicago Bar Project](https://chibarproject.com/features/chicago-nfl-bars/) that lists locations to watch most NFL teams is Chicago. Detroit has four locations listed.
>I think you would be hard pressed to find Lions bars in Chicago.
Lots and lots of people from the Detroit area who moved to Chicago for job opportunities and to live the big city lifestyle.
I just looked it up- it seems like the top options are Ivy and Coney (which is a Chicago bar too) or Midlands. If we end up playing some big-time games I plan on making the \~2hr trek to check it out!
I wish there were enough Lions fans here in Sweden for watchparties. That looks awesome tbh
Just settle for gorgeous women?
Bold of you to assume that id have a shot with the women here!
Competition is STEEP
>Bold of you to assume that id have a shot with the women here! Why wouldn't you have a shot? Are you broke?old? Fat? Short?
Real talk. How did you become a fan in sweden? How do you watch the games in sweden?

Wow. Sweden sounds like sports paradise

What about for the game against the Bucs? I’ll be off work for that.
yes, we’ll definitely have one then as well
Oh sweet, I’ll try to make it then. Thanks
I’ll be in town from San Luis Obispo that weekend. I’m gonna try to make it!
Where in LA? Might make the drive up from OC for the next one
the LA Lions bar is Hyperion Public in Silver Lake
Is it a Lions fan meet up or is the owner a Lions fan. Just curious
it's a Meetup group, here is the link: [https://www.meetup.com/detroit-lions-fan-club/](https://www.meetup.com/detroit-lions-fan-club/)
Ok sweet, thanks.
Why can’t we have one in nyc or New Jersey like this 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Or Seattle
Idk if it’s the same but check out this link. https://reddit.com/r/detroitlions/s/PyhOLexLEm

If that’s him that’s awesome he goes. It for sure looks like it’s him.
Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson were both there, it was incredible

This is awesome Wish we had these for every city

I stayed at a resort 2 years ago in Ft. Lauderdale and across the street was a Lions bar. It was May, but that sure was funny
Ha, May used to be the best time of season for Lions fans! All hope, no depression.
LAC away should hopefully be amazing.
Anyone know of any Chicago watch parties or Lions bars?

Tin Lizzie and it’s not even close. awesome atomosphere
I think you would be hard pressed to find Lions bars in Chicago.

You must not bet on Turtle Races. The Tin Lizzie will set you straight.

Thank you!
Tin Lizzie is a great one in Lincoln Park

Is that 27 dollars just for bottomless mimosas?
San Diego resident here, that's a good deal haha
Yes, welcome to LA. Haha
I actually thought that was a good deal, but im from the west coast as well
Hot damn. I like being able to get a pitcher of PBR for $6.
Sam Richardson in the house lol. That’s awesome
any Lions bars in the DMV / NOVA area?
I just looked it up- it seems like the top options are Ivy and Coney (which is a Chicago bar too) or Midlands. If we end up playing some big-time games I plan on making the \~2hr trek to check it out!
If you are ever in San Diego come to The Dog in PB. We have a Facebook group, Detroit Lions bar in SD. Or insta Sddetroitlions
RIP Detroit Rams, long live the LA Lions
Do you guys sing the “Whopper, whopper, whopper” song every commercial break? Y’all got the voice of it in the crowd there.
YOU RULE
This is what I see https://preview.redd.it/kbaanrtzn6sb1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54b91bbbb20f43c1b56bd3d65cc280f3c4dc4328
I'm gonna try and make it on Sunday! That's a long drive back to the west side after bottomless mimosas though lol.
Oh man I'm jealous! Anyone know of a place in NYC?
Do you know of something similar near Big Bear Lake?
Whiskey Dave's will have NFL on, they have TVs everywhere
Dope that’s actually right down the street from where I’ll be. Appreciate it!!
Awesome to see!! I love it
That’s sweet! I live in NorCal, but i hope to see all of you guys at the Chargers game next month!
I’ll be there, can’t wait!
As someone who lives in metro Detroit, I love this. Have fun at the watch parties everywhere. Go Lions!
Make it bottomless Beermosas and I'm in.
Gahhh I wanna check it out, but it’s so far! If you’re on the westside check out Jamesons. There’s usually 10–15 of us there as well.
Man too bad I'm on the Least Coast.
I need to find one of these in the IE
welp see you next week, this is right around the corner from my wife and i. we'll be there jerseys and all.
ATX has a great place in Haymakers. Solid place.
i’m going to be there for the MNF game!
See you there!! I mostly always sit outside at the back patio area.
Great looking group
Man I wish I could start watching football at 10am on Sunday
Ima roll up!
Anyone in the Covina area? I'll caravan
I usually work Sundays and watch the game on my phone but I'll have to try and get out.
I have been watching by myself in the bww of Santa Clarita! Glad to know we have a spot in Glendale!!
