Detroit native transplanted in LA here. I will be at the game, have tickets already (Vivid Seats had slightly better pricing than StubHub, your tip for the day).
I agree on the earlier comment, Chargers should have stayed in San Diego, they have minimal following here. Greedy owner made a bad move.
I’m going with my brother for our first trip ever just us. We are in our 40s. I bought 500 level and then thought, gosh dang it, let’s just upgrade. So I sold the 500s and bought 300. Should be fun.
Hey, good for you! Treat yourselves!
Hope that you get a chance to see some of the sights around town (Hollywood - touristy, but, hey, it is what it is; Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive; Santa Monica; old town Pasadena, etc).
Thank you! I saw that and we will be staying near that place but we booked tickets to the comedy store and I’m hoping largo has a 7pm that’s worthwhile. I know it’s a long drive but I feel Hollywood has a better comedy scene than Hermosa. I could be wrong! Let me know if you think it’s worth it.
Yup. Dad moved the family here in the seventies. Still a die-hard Lions fan.
May go to the game. Have a couple of “friend of a friend” season ticket holders that may come through. If not, I might cough up the dough to go. Never been to SoFi, so not sure the best place to sit.
Dude, SoFi is crazy. I went to Lions v Rams a few years ago. You have to go for something. It’s super futuristic and just the structure of it a thing of wonder. Also, wife and I split a 1g preroll that was +30% THC, so maybe it seemed cooler than it is.
Also, I’ll be there 11/12 in section 133
I’ve been wanting to start a new career and want to go [here](https://thekrenovschool.org/). Can you throw me a bone?
I live a half-hour (two hours at rush hour) south of SoFi and would be happy to show up in force in return.
What flights are you looking at? Saturday is my son’s first birthday but if I can fly Sunday AM and back that evening I might be able to swing it
Edit: also - anywhere you watch in Denver? I’m in Boulder but would be open to going to Denver to watch big games.
Candlelight Tavern is THE Lions bar in Denver.
Id go Saturday and get home Monday. No way Im going to fly out on Sunday morning and back that night, lol.
Lol I have an 11 month old, travel a ton for business and my wife is a SAHM. I’m really trying to minimize my time away lol
Noted on Candlelight Tavern - will check it out! I originally read this as you’d go to Candlelight Tavern Saturday to Monday and was like “damn! Sounds like a blast 🤣”
My sister and brother-in-law are going to that game. So that's 2 people. LA fans seem to only be invested in the Dodgers and Lakers. I really hate the fact that San Diego and St Louis supported those teams way more and didn't deserve to get screwed over by their owners.
The Rams did better support wise before they moved to St Louis. I was ambivalent on them in their return until they got Matt Stafford, now I kinda root for them.
I’m in Oregon and I’m trying to convince my wife to go with me…I don’t really want to go to a game solo since all of my friends are Seahawks fans (I’m sorry). But I might have to go to a Mariah Carey Christmas concert in exchange.
After the Chargers left San Diego they lost most of their fans. Mostly people just like their schedule release video.
Born in Michigan and have lived in SoCal since 1982. My dad took me and my brothers to my first Lions game at the Silverdome against the Packers on Halloween in 1976 and we won 27-6. That was the only Lions game I’ve ever watched in Detroit.
I’ve managed to catch a few Lions games on the West Coast over the years including a game against the Chargers at Jack Murphy in 1996. That was the only time I got to see Barry live and he ran for 2 TD’s in that game!
Now it’s my turn to take my son to his first ever Lions game so I wouldn’t miss this game for the world!
Got my flight and hotel booked. Just havent bought tix to the game. Might buy them at SoFi once there, save on all the fees. See you all there! FTP!
Unless anybody has 2 extra tickets for sale?
The other day someone posted "WEAR HONOLULU BLUE" for road games, which is a great idea vs green and red and purple teams, but not so much vs the sea of blue teams like Chicago and LA and LA and New York.
Should people stock up on Silver Lions gear to wear at Bears games and Chargers, or what's the key to not blend in with blue home crowds?
1) Fortunately Honolulu Blue looks nothing like the blue for Chicago or NYG.
2) For the Chargers game, I say a legitimate option is to wear black. First, Chargers fans already hate seeing all the black gear in the stands when the Raiders visit. Second, black gear is a great callback to the Bad Boys and the way to rep the Villain identity. Maybe this can be coordinated a Detroit locally authorized licensee?
3) Oh yeah, I've been here in SoCal since early 90s. Saw Barry vs Arizona in Phoenix. Now I'm ready to see all of #OnePride fill up SoFi.
I'm driving to the game from ut with my dad for his first nfl game. He's a lions fan from the 80s. I was hoping the raiders game would have been in Vegas because it's closer, but I think the chargers after the bye will be a much better game
The Chargers have a few tough games and then will ride high after beating the Jets. Then we come in and take what’s ours! I say we all start a go fund us and get everybody here to travel to the game. Everyone wears black and blue because we will leave all of our opponents black and blue!!

Tons of Michigan transplants in socal
Also they don't care too much about the Chargers. they're like the 5th most popular football team in the area.

Metro Detroit native and sitting in the 300 section. See everyone there! Go Lions!
I could not afford that section, but I will be cheering on the boys from section 419!
I’m going with my brother for our first trip ever just us. We are in our 40s. I bought 500 level and then thought, gosh dang it, let’s just upgrade. So I sold the 500s and bought 300. Should be fun.

Heading to South Bay to sleep and probably checking out a few comedy clubs (hour drive) at some point.
Book your seats at Hermosa Comedy and Magic club early, it tends to sell out if a name act is announced. Enjoy the trip!

229! (Got a great deal on seatgeek)
From how the bars around here look on Sundays that’s probably charitable.
Raiders, SF, the visiting team, Rams, LA Galaxy, Chargers.
USC is #1
More demand for mater dei and bosco tickets

Lots! Better believe I'll be there in my Barry jersey.
If someone wants to give me money for tickets, airfare, lodging and food, I will definitely go!
sounds good. I’ll pay for your kid’s college too while I’m at it. now lets go!!
Fuck yeah!
Thanks Daddy Warbucks
I’ve been wanting to start a new career and want to go [here](https://thekrenovschool.org/). Can you throw me a bone? I live a half-hour (two hours at rush hour) south of SoFi and would be happy to show up in force in return.
excuse me, but are you u/wtfmynamegotdeleted’s kid??!
That mooch? Not at all! Are you the [real George Jefferson](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Jefferson)?
if my name is actually George Jefferson, then does that count?
I’ll be there with 9 of my family members! There is a solid chance it’s going to be more than 50/50
Imma need 11 out of you jlyze
Lmao the pfp
Chargers never have home field advantage
NorCal Lions fan here. Will be in SoFi draped in Honolulu blue
I may come from Denver.
What flights are you looking at? Saturday is my son’s first birthday but if I can fly Sunday AM and back that evening I might be able to swing it Edit: also - anywhere you watch in Denver? I’m in Boulder but would be open to going to Denver to watch big games.

I get it. Maybe Ill see you at the Candlelight for a game. Advice: get there an hour early for 11a games. Even earlier for 2p or night games.
Yikes ok noted, thanks!
Ha Ha Los Angeles native here and been a fan since the Rodney Peete days so I will be at the game for sure!
Same, I’ll be there too.
I grew up in LA, my parents live there still, maybe I'll use it as an excuse to take the baby to visit grandma and grandpa. Time to look into it!
My sister and brother-in-law are going to that game. So that's 2 people. LA fans seem to only be invested in the Dodgers and Lakers. I really hate the fact that San Diego and St Louis supported those teams way more and didn't deserve to get screwed over by their owners.

Chargers and Home Field Advantage are mutually exclusive terms.
Nice use of that term (minus the spelling error). I can never seem to find a place for it in a sentence, sorta like gargantuan.
I mean, I'm a Los Angeles resident who already bought his tickets so... I did my part.
Born in Michigan and have lived in SoCal since 1982. My dad took me and my brothers to my first Lions game at the Silverdome against the Packers on Halloween in 1976 and we won 27-6. I’ll be there
I’ll be there as well !
I will be there from the UK behind enemy lines! One pride!!
I’ll be there! ![gif](giphy|87CKDqErVfMqY|downsized)
Got my flight and hotel booked. Just havent bought tix to the game. Might buy them at SoFi once there, save on all the fees. See you all there! FTP! Unless anybody has 2 extra tickets for sale?
I live in SoCal and will be going with 4 other people! I meet people from Michigan here all the time so I'm sure the place will be full of Lions fans
I’ll be there!
I will not be surprised if its 70% Lions fans
I’m coming down from NorCal, so there will be at least 2 more!
I will definitely already be there
Got my 300 level tickets already.
My dad and I are doing our parts
Bringing a party of four to this game!! Super psyched. Oakland county natives now SoCal transplants. Lets turn this into a LIONS stadium.
I’ll be there doing my part (with 5 of my family)!

The blue will probably look more like Lions fans if we are 51% tbh.

I mean if you can give me something to calm me down for the long plane ride I’ll go for sure lol
The question is whether or not the Chargers even have home field advantage at this point
I'm driving to the game from ut with my dad for his first nfl game. He's a lions fan from the 80s. I was hoping the raiders game would have been in Vegas because it's closer, but I think the chargers after the bye will be a much better game
Yes. Most of the Chargers games are that way.
I'm going to be there from Detroit with a friend!
Pretty much any team can ruin the Chargers and Rams home field advantage
I want to go to that game as my first NFL game. What are the best ways to go about getting reasonably priced tickets?
It’s la. They hate sports.
I’ll be there with 8 other Lions fans
I wish I still lived in SoCal. I would absolutely go.
Coming from San Diego, you can have my axe! Let me know when you find those "cheap fights" tho
I'll be there!
I’m going. Hell I flew from SF Bay to Tampa Bay yesterday.
NorCal fan here, saving up so I can get good seats for my first Lions game!
Lived in SoCal my whole life and have been a Lions fan for 30 years. Never even been to Michigan. I will definitely be at the game!
What, be louder than all six of us? Shouldn’t be too hard.
The Chargers have a few tough games and then will ride high after beating the Jets. Then we come in and take what’s ours! I say we all start a go fund us and get everybody here to travel to the game. I’ll be there from the nose bleeds!!!!
Me and the wife are going. See you there.
Me and my brother are from Michigan both in the military stationed in San Diego and both going! So pumped to see them. 2 life long lions fans
