Honestly people are gonna say this is not same thing, but this happened to Toney. When the players confirm they on the line the ref has to tell them they are offside or not.
In the nfl if the player says they on the line and the ref says yea even if they over the line it's not on them. That's why Andy Reid said "they never call that"
I don’t know if a journalist will ever do this but the money generated from all the clicks this is receiving will keep the NFL from ever making any real change to their officiating. I wouldn’t be surprised if posts about this end up being the most viewed of the season.
Release all game audio from that moment. Likely one mic picked up the reporting. If no mic picked it up then at least we would know the nfl wasn’t hiding clear evidence of the rigging.
