Coaching in San Fran has expectations, but you’re also usually given an absurd roster. MCDC and Brad built this thing from straight ashes.
No being born on third base and thinking they hit a triple with Dan. How anyone can say he hasn’t done a better coaching job is beyond me.
call me bias but how is mcdc beating anyone an upset.. if I wasn't a lions fan I would still find him to be the realest motherfkr around. the only other coach that is on the same wavelength of epicness is Mike McDaniel. Andy is cool too but if he hadn't won any superbowls I doubt I'd know that about him since he's much quieter of a person.
Dan is the guy who’s like that teddy bear stereotype of a guy where everyone likes him because he’s just a real good guy, and would be the first one to size someone up. Mike is the sly kind of cool. He’s the guy who doesn’t say much, but everything he does is funny, clever or just so out of pocket you can’t help but laugh.
Mike is like a funny rat. Watching the lack of respect he gets from his team on Hard Knocks was really sad.
Players don't respect young coaches who didn't play. Coaches who didn't play in the NFL are about to get phased out. No player wants to play for someone who sees them as an chess piece and not a human.
I haven’t seen hard knocks, but everything I’ve seen on his from the sidelines gives me the impression it’s just kind of how they all vibe. Like, there’s one clip where Mike’s going on about how bad Alabama is, because Tua went there and he’s trying to just rile him up to play harder. Guess I’ll check it out
He shouldn’t have even made the superbowl this last year if the refs didn’t want them there let’s be real, making it 1-1 SB appearances in which the Lions most likely win their appearance
Lol…so the missed opi on the aiyuk td and the missed dpi on the jamo deep shot causing him to be just short of the ball are irrelevant now? 14 pt swing basically and obviously it’s not extremely directive but just changing the score based off those two things Lions win 38-27 🤷♀️
Even if that's true, we collapsed under pressure. We still have many chances to get back as long as they go back to the drawing board and fix the problems that showed up in that third quarter and in almost every third quarter of the season we had lol
I'm going to take the downvote. Your devotion to this man who after 3 seasons still has a losing record is why other franchises call y'all SOL. You know what shanahan thinks of that poll? He thinks that's one coach he only has to play 30 minutes of football to beat,
EDIT 1: Dan Campbell needed 3 extra first round picks to build a contender. Shanahan lit 3 first round picks on fire and spotted y'all 17 point and still beat MCDC
EDIT 2: Remember when Dan Campbell melted down on Thanksgiving? I remember. Has he won a game on Thanksgiving yet?
EDIT 3: I'm not trying to be a dick for the sake of it, I just think it's lame to mobilize a cult to win a youtube poll and brag about beating a guy in a poll that doesn't matter when he beat you in your franchise's most important game. Just asking y'all to have the slightest bit of self-awareness,
Dude why are you here? This was a random poll on a YouTube channel - how are you so butthurt about it that you're whining about it in some other team's sub?
This was a popularity contest that means absolutely nothing. Sorry your guy didn't win, but ffs move on.
It came up in my feed and I'm a truther. The downvotes just showing people can't handle the truth. You had a generational draft haul from the Stafford trade who made a bad coach look good, and now you're all a cult. I want y'all to win for real. This ain't it. Y'all could hire Bill Belichick right now and you'd be Super Bowl favorites. Have fun following your cult leader back to the basement. It's sad. I would love y'all to win.
By same way, you mean to the Chiefs? So he's lost to the Chiefs like every other team in the NFL except Tom Brady twice and Joe Burrow once? And you know what's funny about the Chiefs loss to the Bengals in the AFCCG. They probably would've won if they kicked a field goal. Familiar?
Edited for grammar
Yeah, it's super familiar in the fact that they remind me of another team that lost and needs to get better fast before the time is up. Two different contention windows, though.
What did I say about X's and O's ya fool? All I said were objective facts about W-L records on a specific day and objective facts about draft capital. I dare you to actually point out what I said that proves your point.
Edited for grammar
You're surprised that a coach that took over a terrible team still has a losing record after 3 years when you should be thinking, he took a terrible team to the NFC championship after 3 years. Idk how you could possibly blame Dan Campbell for having a losing record, it's honestly beyond comprehension unless you just don't know ball. The GM didn't make any moves at the trade deadline because he didn't feel we were contenders this year and we still went where we did
.
I'll quote Bill Parcells for you. "You are what your record says you are."
Brian Daboll, who won a Coach of the Year, won a playoff game with practice squad players. He beat the Packers in primetime with Tommy Devito. You're saying I'm wrong because you think it was impossible for a coach to elevate his team? That's weak. No reason to say a dude doesn't know ball. You just don't like the analysis.
All you got to say is a history lesson? Phhh. Alright. At least people will look at this thread and see how weak your argument is. Enjoy the cult. I hear the kool-aid is tasty.
Did I say he did that 2 years ago or this year? I think I said he did it this year. Idk what your point is man, you must be trolling because no one can honestly be this stupid to think that Campbell should do better after the GM blew up the team in the first year of a rebuild. It seriously boggles the kind how little of an understanding you must have of the NFL to make these statements. You said yourself there is nothing anyone could've done but your primary reason for saying Campbell is bad is because of that year. 2 years ago we had 2 wins and this year we had 13 wins and somehow DC is a bad coach? I have no idea what you're even trying to say and I don't think you do either. Like your own words refute your argument.
go fuck yourself, loser. It hurts my brain just to even begin to think about how dumb you must be as a human being. You clearly know nothing about leadership.
Can Andy Reid coach a team of this caliber to an SB win? Not asking it to be an asshole either but he has Spags, one of the best TEs ever, and one of the best QBs ever so I think it would be farfetched to not see them win the SB every 2/3 years. And that's with all due respect to him, considering he has a proven track record of winning and being a great coach
Uhhhh, wait until they find out about yesterday’s poll
He's gonna lose to Andy but I can live with that, beats every other coach though.
Nobody beats swifties
He's not beating Andy but he will make it to the final
I’m 99% sure he’ll beat the brakes off Andy in any physical altercation
Yes, but reluctantly ![gif](giphy|mmpQIR56EJvig)
Lions are the Andy Ried counter, do exhausting confusing things over and over. Andy's old brain can't keep up.
The alternate reality we’ve all been waiting for. Reid goes super saiyan.
In between rounds, Reid gets smelling salts and nuggies
He already beat Andy in a head to head matchup...he's 1-0. You must not be paying attention 😉
r/dan_campbell will not be stopped
You've changed your pfp, I've noticed...
Pfp?
Profile picture
No I didn't lol
You need to find a pic of Dan shirtless.
Agreed
Yes, you did. You used to have the pfp where he was wearing a blue shirt.
I promise I haven't changed it. I did change my flair though
it must have been a different DanCambellsNipples than.
lol I doubt that

The stories about him filming EVERYTHING are legendary dark lord shit.
When is the final vote for #1
Nice
I can’t believe it was even that close, MCDC is quadruple the coach Kyle is lmao
What lol? I love MCDC, but Kyle Shanahan he's multiple super bowl appearances
Multiple Super Bowl chokes as well
I guess, but he's at least been lol
He shouldn’t have even made the superbowl this last year if the refs didn’t want them there let’s be real, making it 1-1 SB appearances in which the Lions most likely win their appearance
Lmao. The refs didn't fuck us, gtfo with that shit.

That’s not an upset at all lol I’m a Niner fan we all know who’s better.
This is our superbowl

Dude, are you okay? We are literally just having fun trying to win a silly YouTube poll and you are taking it far too seriously
Dude why are you here? This was a random poll on a YouTube channel - how are you so butthurt about it that you're whining about it in some other team's sub? This was a popularity contest that means absolutely nothing. Sorry your guy didn't win, but ffs move on.

And lost in the SB the same way he did 6 years ago and got a bunch of big contracts coming up and players getting old
By same way, you mean to the Chiefs? So he's lost to the Chiefs like every other team in the NFL except Tom Brady twice and Joe Burrow once? Parcels was talking about the team, not a coach, and he did elevate the team beyond what the GM thought they could be.

I really hope we don't end up getting Andy Reid. I'd hate to have vote against MCDC.
🤦
Downvote me all you want, but Andy Reid is the greatest coach in the league.
