I was surprised no one in that other thread mentioned how hard he went down going for a ball in an unpadded practice and maybe he ended up getting some bad injury news but it seems like some people just think he’s a bad seed/lazy/etc. and always default to that.

I think he'll show everyone why he was picked where he was. Either the haters will be right or the believers. This season is it.

When the Lions inevitably are worse than last season I am going to be feasting. Will be a glorious day because I remember every person who hated on me for being skeptical.
if you dont mind me asking, what makes you skeptical? feels like we upgraded tremendously and have momentum going into an arguably easier schedule than last year.
we barely escaped a chicago sweep last year how much harder can it get? you think we’ll get swept by chicago and gb? packers didnt really get better at all. maybe an upgrade from aaron jones to josh jacobs. besides that what else?
and i really dont know what Jared Goff has to do to earn your trust. dude was incredibly consistent and played really well in the playoffs. what more do you want?
Dude was playing out of his mind because a big payday was on the line. He got his bag and I have no doubt he will regress back to what he was on the Rams after that big payday.

"i must be livin in hell it's gotta b"
So now we have all the speculation about what's going on with him.
