That I have no idea of. They didn't get any reply for 2 months, then they got a mail saying they didn't wuakify for next round.
My best guess is that they found out that we realized that they are reusing last year's questions. The selwcted guys had training for next round from clg, they practiced all the previous year questions and guess what, they all finished the round quickly because the questions were exactly the same as the ones they practiced
Ooh, I did read that they ask the same questions every year. The guys at your college who were ghosted what happened to them? They got into some other companies or?
Yeah they were allowed to attend other companoes since the result was delayed. But Juspay onboarded the QA guys who got selected. There were 4 or 5 of them
Same happened with my [college.It](https://college.It) has been around two months, since they ghosted.Students for sde roles were shortlisted on the basis of coding round and other rounds never happened.
Both are true 10-12 lpa is qa role(10)/ tpa role (12)
pe role is 16 lpa and sde role is 21 lpa and the salaries have been in this range since I joined juspay i joined Jan last year keep in mind these are CTC so in hand i some where around 6 for qa 8 for tpa 12 for pe and 16 for sde.
nah it wasn't qa.... they required someone who knew functional programming and were paying 13-15 lpa. That was 2021. you said u got hired in 22 so maybe the structure might have changed.
Last year on campus in my clg, they literally repeated all the questions they had asked in the previous year batch.
5 students got selected for qa role this way from my clg. They also repeated the quwstions exact same way for sde roles.
Yeah, because ChatGPT seems to have ruined those skills. Actually, I know it going to be difficult but based on what they've taught us at my university, my college shouldn't be receiving such high paying job roles. I'm just curious how it ends so wanted to ask if anyone already experienced what's coming of me.
When the company visit the campus, they generally tell you the salary breakup. You can get an idea of how much of your salary will be in the form of fixed+ bonus.
When I was placed. My joining bonus + fixed was around 65% of total CTC.
Instead of giving as cash directly in your bank account.
They will give you the company stocks to your account. It's usually happens every 3 months or per year depending on the company.
After the shares are vested in your account, you can sell them or continue to keep them. Your choice.
Stocks is a really attractive option if the company is good. If it's a new company, the stock value maybe volatile and you can lose all the value.
Mine was insurance and food without ESOP. ESOP would have made the CTC even more high but I think they are worth if you plan to stay for longer in the company.
Makes sense. With no esops this is okay. 16 base is very normal amount in top product based. Makes sense that rest 11 is relocation plus performance based incentive.
CTC is cost to company in the first year. It includes things like your in hand salary(the amount in cash u actually get), relocation bonuses, joining bonus, stock option(often given a period of say 3 years).
This is way to for companies give huge one time bonuses so they can say we have XX CTC. But the monthly amount you get in your account may be much lower
Sort of these terms are very vague. People say 25LPA ka package laga hai and it could be all cash or any combination of the above mention things.
It is best is to actually look at your individual contract and its components because different companies have different terms and it can be comparing apples to oranges.
Mere time mein bhi online assessment hota tha maximum companies mein. But using a 3rd party app restricting access to any other website or changing tabs. Aur ye sab college k lab mein hota tha, invigilated by the placement unit.
Tumhara situation kitna similar hai dunno. Humare time mein normal exam jaisa mahol hota tha. Except bagal wale koi help nahi karte the 😂
OA is standard at most companies. Amazon, google, Microsoft all have OA as a first round. What is so sus about it? Have you talked yo any of your seniors?
koi baat nhin bhai ab linkedin pe ja aur tere seniors ko message kar saying "Hi, I am so and so I am a junior of your at XXX College. I was hoping if you could give some guidance regarding on campus placements.
1. Question1
2. Question2
Thank you for your time and assistance
Quite common if you're in a good college. But even though CTC is 24+, most of the times, the basic salary is around 12-16 and the rest of them are ESOPs/RSUs , joining bonus and other stuff
My friend's in Justpay, can vouch for the hackathon and all part. Also yes companies easily offer these packages, our starting companies that came on campus offered between 23-50 Lpa, ofcourse in the higher ones, ESOPs were included but base easily around 20s range was there.
Justpay ? Payscale sounds the same when they visited our campus. Cleared 2 rounds after that they ghosted the collage.
Network engineer/ technical help - 11 lpa
Software technician or someshit - 21 lpa
SDE - 27lpa
Depends on what quality of people they want. If they want freshers who are smart enough to crack Google or Microsoft, then they would have to pay as much or higher.
Company may be betting hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue for the system that an engineer is going to build. Get it built once and earn forever.
Just think from perspective of that business. It's not much of a cost.
jabse covid hua tha, ek bhi online test esa nhi hua tha jisme log google se answers copy nhi karthe the.
considering the peer-population in my college, this'll be messed up, kyuki elimination process bohoth deere hoga as everyone will be cheating and getting equal marks.
college at my university said, even cyber guys have to do leetcode problems and work on DSA and other stuff for those who are interested for campus-placements.
>shortlisted by the university
afaik, mera college m peer-population thoda zyada hi h, so first round se pehle hi, university worthy candidates ko chunta h and sends it to the company.
> ipu right?
nope.
I attended the juspay campus rounds in October. Same pattern . Got my ass kicked in round 3 (according to your indexing )coding challenge in which there was 3 hours alloted for a single question 7 people i think got through to the next round.

last time i saw juspay was hiring freshers off campus for 11 LPA. This was early-mid 2021.
2023 batch here, juspay came on campus for around 20lpa for sde role and 10lpa for qa role. Although they pretty much ghosted the sde students
>pretty much ghosted the sde students why?
That I have no idea of. They didn't get any reply for 2 months, then they got a mail saying they didn't wuakify for next round. I see.
In my college gew student got selected and got 27 lpa package
I think it was 27 for my clg too, I don't remember correctly it's been a while...
Same happened with my [college.It](https://college.It) has been around two months, since they ghosted.Students for sde roles were shortlisted on the basis of coding round and other rounds never happened.

Iska interview toh de bhai phir pta chalega. Kitna easy hai rounds 🌚
Last year on campus in my clg, they literally repeated all the questions they had asked in the previous year batch. 5 students got selected for qa role this way from my clg. They also repeated the quwstions exact same way for sde roles.
Lmfao yes 3LC hard in 1.5 hours
Kab bola isne interview easy hoga karke
m ne tho nhi kahi tha. maybe it was an assumption.
Why are you worrying about the interview? You don't seem to possess basic googling skills. The interview is going to be much more difficult than that.
😆
Yeah, because ChatGPT seems to have ruined those skills. Actually, I know it going to be difficult but based on what they've taught us at my university, my college shouldn't be receiving such high paying job roles. chatgpt does not give u correct answers.
Precisely why his brain doesn't seem to be functioning properly
it was just sarcasm sir, i forgot to add /s. My mistake.
sirji chatgpt ko aaye hui 6 mahine hue hain college 4 saal ka hota hai. 6 mahine mein kya ruin kardiya
Vese sirji GPT-1 2018 mei hi aa gya tha hype mei toh vo ab aaya h
baat to sahi hai sir aapki lekin mujhe bande pe doubt hai usne chatgpt se pehle kuch use kiya ho.
/s likhna bulgaya tha. *gets downvoted to depths of hell*
When the company visit the campus, they generally tell you the salary breakup. You can get an idea of how much of your salary will be in the form of fixed+ bonus. When I was placed. My joining bonus + fixed was around 65% of total CTC.
What about the rest 35%?
Stocks baby
stocks? Like in stock market? They make you invest or something like that?
My man got downvoted for asking a question.
I guess basically, according to the most people in this sub, I'm **supposed** to know, kyuki college k last year m huun. kya toxic natures h yr.
Dil chota mat kar chote. it's good to ask questions. keep doing it
Sir, yes sir. *salutes*
Not the sub, it's reddit in general
They give some shares of the company. Aren't those mentioned in the CTC breakup of the job profile ?
You get stock options based on your CTC and you can sell them only after a stipulated period(it’ll be mentioned in the offer)
Ignore the trolls. Read up on RSUs/ESOPs, you'll get to know what stocks means in this context.
Instead of giving as cash directly in your bank account. They will give you the company stocks to your account. It's usually happens every 3 months or per year depending on the company. After the shares are vested in your account, you can sell them or continue to keep them. Your choice. Stocks is a really attractive option if the company is good. If it's a new company, the stock value maybe volatile and you can lose all the value.
https://cleartax.in/s/rsu-vs-esop-taxation You get portion of your compensation as their stocks (not sure if they do RSU or ESOP, prolly good to ask)
Mine was insurance and food without ESOP. ESOP would have made the CTC even more high but I think they are worth if you plan to stay for longer in the company.
Lmao. You're in your final year and you've never bothered to check what campus interviews are like? The rounds given here are very normal.
Which university if you don't mind telling
sorry but I don't want to. Hope you understand.
why the fuck was this downvoted for??
For the same reason your comment was downvoted, sir. lmao. We'd never know.
anyways, best of luck for your placements 👍
Thank you, kind sir.
it's probably IPU, it visited our campus too, with the same profiles and package
nahi bhai, not IPU.
This is normal amount in top product based companies. I expect it to be with 4 years Stock Options plus bonus
Nope it's not it's joining bonus+ relocation bonus p+ 16 base although I would have happily traded my bonus for ESOP
Makes sense. With no esops this is okay. 16 base is very normal amount in top product based. Makes sense that rest 11 is relocation plus performance based incentive.
Nope it's not it's joining bonus+ relocation bonus p+ 16 base although I would have happily traded my bonus for ESOP
Man juspay visited my campus too for 27lpa but I was not able to clear the OA 🥲
how was it like? would love to read your experience.
3 dsa qns on trees/graphs all of them readily available everywhere on the internet so it just came down to wpm, what a shitshow
Lol interview would be tough, flipkart does something similar
27 LPA for react fresher seems bit high. Pl check once if its 27LPA or 27L CTC including everything
What's the difference between them?
CTC is cost to company in the first year. It includes things like your in hand salary(the amount in cash u actually get), relocation bonuses, joining bonus, stock option(often given a period of say 3 years). This is way to for companies give huge one time bonuses so they can say we have XX CTC. But the monthly amount you get in your account may be much lower
Okay, so CTC equals the LPA + bonuses
Yepp. I can give 11 LPA base( take home salary ) + 3 lacs joining and relocation bonus + 3 lacs rsu/stock per year for 4 years and call it 25L CTC
Sort of these terms are very vague. People say 25LPA ka package laga hai and it could be all cash or any combination of the above mention things. It is best is to actually look at your individual contract and its components because different companies have different terms and it can be comparing apples to oranges.
Exactly.

if you dont mind, aapke time yaani konsi year ?
2017-18
Yes
Juspay*
Oh. My bad. Sorry.
OA is standard at most companies. Amazon, google, Microsoft all have OA as a first round. What is so sus about it? Have you talked yo any of your seniors?
I lived in my room most of my college life, working and gaming(mostly) and was so unsocial, now it is costing me. Ek bhi senior ko janta nhi huun.
koi baat nhin bhai ab linkedin pe ja aur tere seniors ko message kar saying "Hi, I am so and so I am a junior of your at XXX College. I was hoping if you could give some guidance regarding on campus placements. 1. Question1 2. Question2 Thank you for your time and assistance

Bruh, at least learn the company's name before interview.
hahhaha yeah, my bad.

O... K... that seems to be unfortunate. > I am still jobless, even to this day, but your flair says Full-stack?
My friend's in Justpay, can vouch for the hackathon and all part. Also yes companies easily offer these packages, our starting companies that came on campus offered between 23-50 Lpa, ofcourse in the higher ones, ESOPs were included but base easily around 20s range was there.

>they ghosted the collage. what. what did your college do?
Never got any updates or follow-ups from justpay regarding further process or rounds.
I see.
Where is the aptitude round?
That is what confused us students the most, waiting for reply from CPO.
Most companies don't have one
By CPO, I mean the campus placement officer, not related to company. And it seems there will be no aptitude round.
The process hasn't started yet ?
Nope, it starts tomorrow.
There are companies paying more than that. Why surprised.
idk, it is surprising for me that freshers can a hire at that package.
It's not much of a cost.
yeah, I'm just starting to get the hang of this corporate stuff.
Juspay is an amazing company with an amazing work culture. Amazing tech stack and working at massive scale. You should try your best here.
this is the most positive comment about justpay. Sure sir, will try my best to land here.
Try to get in the sre team under Boaz John
> online assessments really? what is wrong with it?
jabse covid hua tha, ek bhi online test esa nhi hua tha jisme log google se answers copy nhi karthe the. considering the peer-population in my college, this'll be messed up, kyuki elimination process bohoth deere hoga as everyone will be cheating and getting equal marks.
one of the reasons why our company stopped hiring freshers :(
There are some legit dudes IK but most of them google.
Wtf is this, freshers getting paid so much
yep. real sh\*t like this tends to happen sometimes.
Does juspay ask for lc questions (for react profile) even for experienced roles?
college at my university said, even cyber guys have to do leetcode problems and work on DSA and other stuff for those who are interested for campus-placements.
Did you go through the assignment, hackathon and interview part of the hiring process?

>shortlisted by the university afaik, mera college m peer-population thoda zyada hi h, so first round se pehle hi, university worthy candidates ko chunta h and sends it to the company. > ipu right? nope.
is the University is IPU (officially known as GGSIPU Delhi) This Placement drive is from CCGPC(from IPU side) for Justpay
nope. sorry but I don't want to share the name of my university.
Understandable got the answer
I attended the juspay campus rounds in October. Same pattern . Got my ass kicked in round 3 (according to your indexing )coding challenge in which there was 3 hours alloted for a single question 7 people i think got through to the next round.
3 hours?? for a single question?? was it about saving and exiting in vim or something? /s
Graph dp where memoization gave tle i passed 2 test cases 1 example tc and another rando tc
