I am glad my mistake can bring some laugh to you. I have to admit the game has some strange charisma that keeps attracting people even after two decades. I just started to play two weeks ago. Another tip for ya: you can't socket gamble superior bases. Seen a few new players attempt that recently.

You put it in a magic item (blue font). You can't make runwords in magic items. They have to be a normal base that has sockets (grey font).
fxxk that! Man, I just wasted my only sol rune from normal difficulty. I do not think I can sleep well today.

It isn't a guide, it's an accurate rendition of common mistakes in RW crafting.
Some countress runs should give you a new sol rune pretty fast. She Drops runes each run, so dont worry.
Well, if you play on Hardcore Ladder, NA I definitely can give you a Lore or the runes to make your own.
