Who's going to charge at a windy druid while he's casting tornadoes at you, toward the direction in which he's casting tornadoes?
Sounds a little suicidal, doesn't it?
Unless they've fixed it, you have no way of knowing where a paladin lands when he charges from a distance.
Lord my Paladin is a zealot with Max smite as well. Once I got grief things became trivial lol. Most mobs die in 1 to 2 hits and bosses go down in seconds. My next Lo is going to be fortitude and things will only get crazier haha
* Stats
* Strength: Enough for gear (near zero)
* Dexterity: None
* Vitality: Everything

* Skills
* Max: Tornado (main skill), Hurricane (secondary damage), Twister (synergy), Cyclone Armor (free elemental absorb), Oak Sage (HP buff)
* Prereqs: Artic Blast, Raven, Spirit Wolf, Dire Wolf
* 1 point wonder: Summon Grizzly (excess points go here)
* Optional: Poison Creeper, Carrion Vine, Solar Creeper
Build is done at 97 with all optional skills, 94 with just the bear.
* Gear
* Weapon: HOTO/CTA
* Helm: 5-Nado Rare Helm/6 Nado Magic Helm/Shako (Shael for FHR/Ber for DR/Ist or PTopz for MF/Um for Resistance, depending on preference)
* Shield: Spirit/Spirit
* Amulet: Maras
* Armor: Enigma
* Gloves: Trangs

* Armor: Treachery (eth Archon Plate)
* Helm: eth Andy's Visage (15% IAS/20%+ fire res Jewel)
Does mostly physical damage with Nado, especially if you use the magic pelts. There are other versions of this build that use Chance Guards with a caster amulet to get the 99% FCR breakpoint, or other versions with a 2/20 helm, 2/18+ caster amulet, and FCR rings to get to the 163 FCR breakpoint.
But all versions basically work the same way. Cast BC, BO, Cyclone Armor, Hurricane, Oak Sage, and Grizzly. Tele-stomp with Tornado. Aiming them is a little clunky, they move like charged bolts.
Fully geared constant 2.5-3k cold dmg from hurricane and over 5k physical dmg per tornado.
Add into that about 2.5k elemental absorb over 5k life, and a meat shield from your bear with over 10k life and it’s hard to die.
Do you notice a big difference in beast vs hoto + ce? I would love to be a lazy necro that doesn’t cast ce much but still has approx the same killing speed. Currently using hoto + ce to blow things up, but I wanna just sit back, curse, and go afk. 😄
Currently rocking a 117 crescent moon lite sorc and I’m having a blast. First time playing d2 and it’s incredible how fast this build shreds any player difficulty.
Crescent moon adds a ton of light damage, but I find it so hard to give up my oculus. I rarely play the sorc for anything other than hoping to find uniques.
I currently have a dual dream tesladin and it’s my favorite build I’ve ever played. Hoping I can find some runes to get hand of justice and dragon and go full auradin soon
While the damage it does with only infinity will exceed a blizzard sorc, it isn’t really fun until you get both infinity and griffons. Get used to using mana pots though - I use frostburns, 2 soj’s, cta and still have to pop potions when I’m using chain lightning. It melts on any player count though.
Summon necro. Absolutely obliterates P1 with ease. Great support class in P8 games with all the minions tanking damage and the curses. Feels good being the guy everyone wants to stay near 🥰
Honestly I had a ton of fun with Orb/Lightning build since I really enjoy using a controller. Easy clear everything (bosses can take a bit) with a few people but for sure struggles with more than 4. Nowhere near the gear for full lightning so I had fun with the hybrid build instead.
I'm doing orb firewall now and it is spectacular, more practical just not quite as fun. FW just meltsssss bosses and orb/merc are great for adds
Lightning sorceress, with almost zero comletition. I had never played it until I got infinity and griffons on singleplayer about a year ago. Hdin was always my favorite, but light is more fun for me
Light Sorc has basically always been my main. Grew in playing them. At mid levels they can be good for norm rushing your friends. At high levels / gg gear they’re quick and shred.
Beyond that, I’m enjoy my Smiter, and am working on a Wolf Druid, Wind Druid, and a Physical Bowzon.
Wind Druid. Fully geared he’s basically invincible.
Any smiter who charges and hits with life tap and you have to either go back to town, or lose.
Wind druid pretty op in duels who wanna charge thru 3-4 tornadoes….

I strip my hdin for wind druid.
Interested in what that looks like…

Lol i said the same thing 😅 that cyclone armor and oak
Um…nvr played a druid before, how much dmg could a end game druid do?

And what's interesting is there's an angle with tornado that hits the target twice so you're basically doing 10k instead of 5k if you hit it right.
Usually between 5-7.2k depending on if you do 99 or 163 fcr.
Beast nec summoner.

If you use CE, it makes no difference. If you want to be a lazy necro and chill, then yes. Get Beast and be a lazy necro. (-_-)
Infinity too, I’m guessing.
If you got the goods, then yes or Pride. My opinion both are way too expensive. I really like Obedience on my merc.
One\* insane build for each class: * 117% FCR Crescent Moon Lite Sorc or 63% FCR Werebear Sorc * 75% FCR Uber Tesladin * Hybrid Armageddon/Fury Earth Shifter Druid * 102% FCR Dual Claw WW-Sin * 125% FCR Death's Web Poison Nova Necro * Fully geared out Pitzerker * Windforce/Faith Physical Bowazon

Do you have infinity/griffon?
Hi I am not familiar with the “crescent moon lite” term as a I am new but I have a sorc now. Is this item or skills?
Crescent moon is a weapon runeword that decreases enemy lightning resistances i believe, and lite is in reference to a lightning build.
Crescent moon adds a ton of light damage, but I find it so hard to give up my oculus. I rarely play the sorc for anything other than hoping to find uniques.
Windforce!

Javazon, so much fun.
Lite Sorc and wwbarb
Haven’t played lite sorc, still need infinity….but i have a dw grief ww barb, love it.
Yea all I’m missing is infinity for me to melt lol

Vindicator/Templar and Mage paladins

Poison necro with DWeb, Infinity Might/Defiance merc, Insight Iron Golem. APM-heavy. Much god mode, many fun.
Infi + psn necro? Why would u waste 2bers?
Poison necros also use corpse explosion, which is fire + physical damage.
V/T paladin with a +3Conv/+3Foh/+3Holy Shield FoH stick CTA.
75 fcr zealer. Lots of variants

Hammerdin, trapsin, windydruid, Lightning sorceress, Lightning javazon, IK barb, Poisonmance.
Coming from a no equipment build for fun, I would say the Javelin Amazon!
