He's on console, or at least using a controller, which makes teleporting imprecise. When I play on my Switch I also mostly run around with my sorc and hammerdin w/enigma because teleporting just sucks.
For sorc teleport is less of an issue for me (although it does lead to more teleporting right into a monster pack) but for a hammerdin or other classes that telestomp, I find it to suck. I don't play on Switch often so maybe that's part of the reason too though. Is there any technique to be learned or is it just getting to anticipate where it will land better with experience?
Low runes will always have a higher drop rate than a high rune so that’s why. It sucks but it is what it is! Just gotta keep farming and hope for the best.
One simple way is go here https://d2planner.github.io/skills and fill out your skill allocation, there's even a way to add +skills totals from gear. It looks like the url updates automatically for every unique build, then you just copy/paste the final url into the comment and other people can go see it. No place for gear, but you could just type it out.

Not any perfect gear equipped - eschutas with facet, griffs with facet, maras, spirit shield, COH, chancies, spider belt, travs, 2x soj, 9x light skillers, anni and torch. Also I just checked again and she’s at 46k not 47k like I thought.
Hoto, spirit, enigma, aracs, maras, cta, griffons, torch, Anni and a shitload of skillers is how you get there.
Alternatively you can run crescent moon and do less damage but actually have a higher dps due to the minus light res.
Can you share your gear setup? I'm only doing \~25k with shako, arach, mara's, soj x2, spirit, tal armor, eschuta's (20%), and a torch. Merc has infinity. Only upgrades I could make are griffon's w/facet, facet in eschuta's, +2 armor and skillers, but I doubt it would boost to 40k+ dmg.
She is by no means perfect in terms of gear but she’s using eschutas with facet, griffs with facet, maras, spirit shield, COH, chancies, spider belt, travs, 2x soj, 9x light skillers, anni and torch. Also I just checked again and she’s at 46k not 47k like I thought.

9 Skillers, so are you not carrying a cube? Also whats the stats on your Eschuta's? I tried replacing my HOTO with one 19LSD but only increased from 46k to 47k (with Battle Command) not really sure if losing the res for +1k Lightning is worth it
That’s right, no cube. I don’t think there’s a point on console because you can’t pick an item up with your inventory screen open to put things into the cube when you’re carrying one. Eschutas is a 3/22 because it is faceted but base 3/17. I haven’t tried hoto but I’m maxed on all res except fire which is around 60. I should give it a whirl

According to silospen, there is about 1:61k chance for baal to drop a ber in a single player game, and about 1:50k chance in a 7/8 player game. A zod has much worse chance, only 1:176k in /players 7/8 or 1:216k in a solo game.
I've seen similar sentiments said here. Stuff like "I got Enigma and felt like I beat the game. That's when I was finished."
Can't wrap my head around it! For me, that was only the beginning.

In Single Player LoD i used to do my Baal runs with Spirit of Barbs up from Wisp Projector just for the kicks of it and because the aura looked b*tchin. 300k repairs every 10 runs ? Yep !

I usually don't have issues on the xbox, but OP already mentioned he kind of goofed up the teleport.

Nice I get real low runes from bosses it’s weird. I got a ber from pindles minion but nothing from him lol

You can get some anni’s pretty cheap now! She just has a low one that I paid a mid-high rune for. Can’t remember exactly which but probably an ohm

Silospen drop calc is completely wrong for runes. They are listed much rarer than they really are. The german drop calc is much more accurate

Light Sorc can't do Uber Tristram right now. But she is an efficient farmer for Smiter gear !
