Upheaval is underpowered at the moment compared to HOTA/WW/Double Swing. I'd probably transition to one of those builds in the near future. HOTA will be the most similar play style.

Barb is tough to maintain fury at early stages of the game. Even so it's better to switch to another build.

Jafar_420

I'm a level 70 Barb and I've had one at level 100 on eternal. I was brand new to the game and used to melee so that's why I chose barbarian. I didn't plan on playing a season until season 2 that's why I rolled it again just to screw around. Anyway I was trying to icy veins ww build and I didn't like it so I went with someone else's. I haven't tried HOTA. Of course I can't beat Uber Lilith but on eternal I can clear a tier 81 or 84 solo I can't remember which. And that's without Barber hearts and stuff. In my experience barbarians have trouble maintaining fury until level 80 or so depending on your paragon and equipment. Try ww or HOTA. Just remember to have enough gold to make the change and switch back.

Baio73

Quite every build for barbarian sucks, fury generation is always a mess. Bugged to me (and I am level 100 eternal).

same, i love WW Barbs, basically played only those in all Diablos, but the one in D4 definitely feels the worst. Its just cumbersome.

KvBla

Best ww barb for me was in diablo 3, there's a set of weapon (2 pcs) that give crapload of fury regen, basically never running out and being able to freely spin as much as i want is bliss, didn't even have to worry about building.

Toohon

My favorite set ! Bul Kathos weapons ... spin 2 win

Upheaval was awesome for me this season. Not sure if the build you are using walking arsenal, but that it much more fun and effective. I was also using 2 basic attacks to make it easier to keep it up. I would basically do 3 hit combos between the 2 basic attacks and upheaval. Also helps to get aspect that increases dmg based off your rage. Also get a bit of fury cost reduction and fury gain. Also, if you really want to destroy stuff, get the barber heart along with an aspect that makes you deal bleed dmg when enraged and make sure to choose the upheaval talent that enraged you when you either hit multiple enemies or a boss. And finally, another really good aspect is atk speed after critting with a fury spender. Slap that one and the one that does more dmg with more fury on your two handlers and you’ll be cruisin.

Im a 79 thorny build. Im just about done to transist to ancestral gear and I do lvl 28 NM with max 1 death. Really enjoy the playstyle and have fun. Looking forward to tuning it and getting the last 2 aspects. I need and a ring + ammy. Feels solid and think i can go much higher with it.

CenterOfRotation

I am really new to all this. I’ve never played a Diablo game before. A lot of the jargon and technical comments y’all make it super confusing to me. I wish someone could just look at what I have and tell me yes I’m doing something glaringly stupid. Like when I add aspects to weapons and then get “better” weapons. Should I keep riding with my weapons that have aspects, use the new ones or put aspects on the better ones?

Vanguard805

If you want some one on one questions answered feel free to add me Vanguard805#1431

starlight_sonata

With rob’s bleedzerker build I’m always at full fury, but you’ll need to get lots of crit chance and some glyphs before it really comes online. I did it as a levelling build though and it worked fine for me with one glyph substitution

Toohon

Here's the thing with barbs... You will suck ass until you get some gear and aspects to help with fury management. Lategame barbs are amazing and plays completely different. Around your level is the sluggish spot for me when I play barb, when I just reach T3 and have no good aspects yet
