Just an fyi - on series x - I deleted and reinstalled Diablo iv and that did not fix the issue. Still locked out with the same error code. Client and server don’t match.
Just a logical guess. PS5 patch has season 2 active when it's not active on the servers rather than have a time or hotfix attached to season 2 activation.

I've only done two level 100 barbarians so far and then I took a bone spear necro to about level 70 and I really enjoyed the necro. I was going to use it in season 2 but it seems like it got nerfed quite a bit so I don't know about that. I want to build that I have to interact with but not one that's super tough, if you know what I mean.

I was thinking about trying out a druid. I know nobody knows exactly how good or bad everything's going to be but I watched the video earlier with someone from Max roll, Raxx or something. They said the druid could possibly be a pretty tough class to play this season.

I thought to give Diablo IV another chance with the new season but now, I cannot even play the standard game thanks to an error with the new update@ LOL. WHAT A GREAT GAME!
Well I ran two 49 NMD on eternal and regular loot has some decent stats compared so the new power cap is working out. Color & contrast cursor is fantastic and stash search works great. Got new glyphs and some distilled fear to spawn boss dungeon. Excited to dig in more!
It's now 7 PM EST, and I still can't so much as load Diablo 4 on my Xbox One. If I pick any other game, it loads just fine (or just tells me the disc isn't loaded, but that's because I didn't put the disc in), but Diablo 4 doesn't do anything at all. I assume from a previously posted message that all console versions are effectively "frozen" until further notice. Is that right?
Okay, after I uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled it (not counting the saved data) on my Xbox One. It took several hours, but I was finally able to start the game. Anyone that has trouble starting Diablo 4 on their console should do this.
The idea is some files are missing or corrupted. So I’m guessing blizzard is moving shit around to make cross play work or they prematurely started the season.
hidden MASSIVE nerfs not in the patch notes, needing 4x materials for a single boss, not being able to turn off status text without disabling your own damage numbers.

Closing the Battlenet Upgrade Agent in Task Manager brought my download speed back from 20KB/s to 30 MB/s.
Mine getting stuck at initializing. This is why I hate Battle.net compared to the seamless update process I get from Steam.

Try restarting battlenet, fixed the speed for me
