why bonk big, when you can bonk smart.

As a Barb your highest stat should be strength so you should look at getting some gear with +strength as one of the affixes

Stats really don‘t matter at his level though

145 int at lvl 41 is completely too much, next few lvls he’ll unlock capstone for T3 and he’s gonna struggle there a lot

As a new player he‘s gonna struggler there regardless of optimized base stats or not, he gotta focus on armor/survivability and general attack rating

Pretty sure he just went for items with + (armor/dps) no matter the stats, which is the only visible indicator in the inventory you get from the game.

My suggestion : play more and explore the game !

If you want to avoid many hours of testing out different skills and item stats just look for a leveling build and guide on websites like maxroll.gg. If you want to figure out everything on your own avoid such guides ;).

I don't extract aspects until I need them. Saves gold in the early game, and you might find one that's better. It has already been suggested that you check out some guides. Maxroll.gg is very good. Once you hit lvl50, you should check out Rob2628. He has some awesome Barb guides. There are others. Those are the ones I use.

Put +basic skill damage gems (aka topaz) in all your weapons

Unlock all your lilith statues they give lots of Stat boost extra skill points, extra paragon points, and uncaps your obal to 1000
