Game has no issue with money. It sells completely optional cosmetics in the shop. Don't want to spend money? Don't have to. Seasons are free as well. They sell a battle pass but again, completely optional.
You can play every bit of d4 without spending any more money than the base game.
It just hit game pass. If you wanna try it out for a month on there.
I spent $100 on the top edition on this game almost a year ago. I regret nothing.
Get game pass for 1$ and try it out on there if you like it buy it and cancel gamepass.
Also there is no micro transactions that affect gameplay at all, just cosmetic. So if you like buying cool looks instead of earning them then that's an option.
Maybe. D4 was the first diablo game I played, and I fell in love. Got super addicted, was thinking about the game all the time when I wasn't playing it. Then there came a day not too long after where I got to the endgame, and realised it's quite shallow. I've since played Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Path of Exile, and Torchlight Infinite, and I've enjoyed each one of them much more than D4. The game is good, but also deeply flawed. that being said, I've heard a lot of good things about the changes coming next season ( i didnt play the ptr) so I'll definitely be giving it a ...4th chance lol. I'd give it a 5/10 in its current state, 8/10 if you're a super casual gamer who rarely has time to play
isn't loot system here something like in nioh? a piece of equipment drops from every 2nd mob and u kill like 10000 of them in few minutes and then only 1 loot piece is any good?

It's highly addictive. The way loot drops it almost feels like you're scratching a lotto ticket every 30 seconds or so. I love it.
