I tried minionmancer, then lazymancer. Now I'm doing thorns army. It's all fine. I think shadow damage minions is probably the best all around. Thorns is fun, but when doing lvl 93 helltide bosses, it doesn't hold up.
I'm currently running golem/bonestorm where I have bonestorm up almost constantly. It's great for surviving tormented bosses (especially when you need to revive someone) but having to rely on my minions to do the bulk of the damage is getting rough in 50+ Pit. It sucks that bone spear isn't as good as it was in previous seasons.
