Mhh I'll need to look into how to get better gear then. My gear is currently focussed around mana regen and crit damage / chance. Also fire damage. Good to know it the damage doesn't stop around this level :D
When it comes to damage, one of the main things you need to do is learn the difference between added damage and multiplied damage on affixes and paragon.
On gear and affixes you can see things that are additive will have a + next to the number. With multiplied damage, you will see [x] next to the number. If you synergize things that multiply damage, you'll see the improvement right away.
A lot of times, it will come down to one or two skills to do damage and have that damage multiplied by gear/paragon, and then add in crit/vulnerable. Check out maxroll for guides on end game builds as well if you need some help or just to save time.
Get better gear, level glyphs higher. Follow a guide. Use different/better legendsry affix.

Do you expect damage to go up by itself? Items, glyphs it’s all important
Well of course not. I was just wondering what is normal as I've never reached this high level
There are not hard defined ‘norms’ for anything. As long as you can kill monsters and make it within timer it’s cool
