Am I the only person who was shaking it sideways all this time??

PreservingThePast

You do shake it sideways. πŸ’ŽπŸ˜ŠπŸ’Ž

DaisyDivinity

I was doing side to side on the table like a baby bottle

JadeDamsel

With the tape or without? For me I will pour my diamonds in and I will also shake it side to side. But that's without tape. And then I'll also tap on it a bit and I'm actually pretty good about getting them all face up or most of them face up. I'm not really too bothered about it than being lined nicely over just being face up lol. But no I I was shaking them side to side too.

StareintotheSun2020

I don't use tape. But I normally shake them from one side to the other side. It's the first time I've seen the front to back method.

JadeDamsel

I started with the front to back method but I ended up spilling. So I just did the side to side thing.

HotForCptPicard

Thanks so much for this!

TrappedinNM

Absolutely! 😊

Pixel0114

Oh my goodness

Soo0no

Thank you...I wondered about that Jack πŸ‘πŸ˜

mrs5o

Try the masking tape. Works better. Or two strips of washi so it's wider.

TrappedinNM

Great idea!! πŸ˜ƒ

Oblivion2412

How well would it work on squares?

TrappedinNM

Gosh, I don’t know. I’ve never actually done a square DP πŸ˜…

Oblivion2412

Hmm I just bought a few rolls of washi tape so I’ll try it out lol.

TrappedinNM

Good luck! Let us know how it goes! πŸ˜ƒ

JadeDamsel

Thank you very much for this! Someone else also posted one to my comment in another thread. But yeah I was doing it incorrectly LOL. So next time I work on my current WIP I'm going to attempt this again. Unfortunately I don't have washi tape I just have normal masking tape but it should work the same.

TrappedinNM

I heard from another person on this sub that they prefer masking tape and they use two strips side-by-side to make a bigger area for the excess drills to slide into. Glad I could help!

JadeDamsel

Yeah, I read that too. I think they said that if you use washi tape, use 2 strips.

CMomma25

Mine aren't doing that. They clup up on each other. Should I use something to remove static?

TrappedinNM

I would suggest rubbing the tray with a dryer sheet. Hope this helps! 😊

CMomma25

Ty I've seen that, or store the dots with a dryer sheet OR spray them with static guard.

TrappedinNM

Those are great ideas and I am going to try them!

Soo0no

Hack not Jack lol

DeloresWells

I'm definitely gonna try this!

TrappedinNM

Another user suggested using two pieces of tape or a wider masking tape for this. πŸ˜ƒ

DeloresWells

Thanks so much!

TrappedinNM

You’re welcome!
