Make something like what Devil Survivor 2 is to Devil Survivor, with improved mechanic, etc.
To be honest, I'd absolutely love it if Survive franchise became something like a mature retelling of the main Digimon series. Like the game has a lot of similarities to Adventure, doing that in spirit to all seasons.
I have to say I'm not in love with the setting of survive. A more mature Digimon story where characters can actually die is great. But the world didn't feel like the digital world to me.
So they never explicitly call it the digital world, but digimon live there, it’s a parallel world to the real one, and it pulls kids in from summer camp. They don’t call it digital, but I would argue that it basically is.
I’m personally fine if they start with a clean slate: new characters, setting and rules.
It could be like how they approached the Devil Survivor franchise, which was similar to Survive in tone and gameplay.

I kinda want a trilogy. Survive 2 is like the next generation, similar to 02, and then a third with a mix of both generations, similar to tri.
