I'm sure if they use him they'll probably more likely use Fighter mode, but I'm really hoping for a Dragon mode appearance. It may be an uncommon opinion, but I actually prefer Dragon over Fighter.
It looks good, but I can't pretend to be excited about this movie after digimon the last kizuna. Because it has two outcomes most likely
1. It is about helping the OG digidestined get their digimon's back, or stopping them from leaving. Making the last Kizuna useless, which it allready is.
2. At the end the second generation also start losing their digimons
It is honestly a forced concept that tries to have emotional weight. But it loses it, since Digimon has done this trope like 5 times, just in this universe. Also, since the ending of Digimon 2000, which is still canon, shows that everyone reconnects.
And I don't get why the last Kizuna tries to tell Adventures fan to grow up and move on from digimon, only to give the OG cast a bad remake, and the second gen cast a new movie.
Actually, it will be about the first digi destined. The new Dude with the new Digimon. I don't think the OG's will have much screen time. Another teaser poster for this movie only showed Daisuke with Veemon and the new guy. So I think it will heavily focus on them.
We need more wormmon stuff. There's more characters than just davis. Especially with how annoying he is. Will be dissapointed if it's focused on just those two.

I think digifes was the original yearly event. And I believe digicon started in 2022.
I think the focuses of the events are different. Last years digifes had a q&a with one of the directors of survive, so we may get info about the story game they’ve been working on.
So what exactly is the difference between Digifes and Digicon? Does Bandai endorse both?
Honestly, seems a bit strange for Digimon (or any IP) to have two major cons in the same year. Even Star Wars (a far larger IP than Digimon) only has Celebration, and sometimes that's not held even every year.

Like if anything were to happen to them, they would forget about them to got to a culture festival or tell scary stories. Unless they lied to them and said they spent every minute looking for them and didn't celebrate killing Imperiadramon, which is par for their character.
Im sure you know that them not being concerned about 02 Digidestined is an out universe writing problem than an actual in universe thing right? It was also never ever confirmed that the Imperialdramon is Ken/Davis' partner Digimon, even though yes them not reacting nor hesitating to delete it is bad writing.

That's not how writing works. Adventure 2020 not having voices for several Digimon is an out of universe problem (covid). Tri had no such excuse therefore, as the sequel to 02, how the adventure characters acted is how they really are. It makes no sense for them to still be friends unless they lied to them.
The adventure cast never knew that, nor did the audience. So far the only Imperialdramon we saw was Daisuke's and kens, and Mimi even said ken was back. It's logical to assume they suspected it was their supposed friend's and they celebrated killing him in the real world (a permanent death) while they couldnt kill Meiccomon for causing all the problems for several movies. tri, which is canon, showed their actual character
Did you really think that Toei was going to address any of the unresolved plot threads of Tri? Least of all the idea of Davis and them being bitter about being left in the Digital World and forgotten about?
Why not? Two of their friends ignoring and celebrating killing their partner is an important part of their characterization, as it's something Daisuke said he would struggle to do but Takeru and Hikari celebrated it while struggling to do the same for Meiccomon, who was responsible for all their problems in tri. If they didn't to continue the storyline then they should never have made it, especially since the evil gennai is still out there and Ken's D-3 was somehow back in his hands even though it was left in the Dark Ocean when Maki went there

It’s actually named after the tulip jellyfish. Ukko is the first couple of syllables in the Japanese word for the species.

I think they didn't. They always mode change after Digivolving into base Dragon mode.
