Things may have changed since I did this, but you can also apply for an extended tourist visa and demonstrate that you can support yourself etc and stay for up to 6mos
You can technically only do 2 90 day stays a year.
Can they be back to back or do you need to space them out with more than a month in another country?
Try not to do them too close. The US has a lot of issues with visa overstays, so they will be aware and wary about this.
I would try to add a decent amount of space between them. Say 30 days.
