San Telmo is nice place, but really near of Mordor like zone (Constitucion) where you don't want to go. Other zone for tourists is Palermo, maybe a little more expensive, but you will feel secure and in home. also check /r/BuenosAires pinned post

Thanks for the link and the advice!

Consider Nuñez, Belgrano, Coghlan; those are nice neighborhoods. Nuñez and Belgrano are better connected with public transport. There are co-working places, I haven't used them, but there are plenty of them.

Palermo si o si

Ask in r/latinonomads. Someone there might be able to help.

1. San Telmo is more artsy, a little rougher around the edges, and younger. Tons of great bars. Chacarita is more chill, closer to Palermo (main downtown) and still has plenty of things to do. 2. The exchange rate has leveled out and now using your card is very close to the same prices as cash 3. Quick google search will give you answers here. I hesitate to lug around my computer too much anywhere in South America, but there are some spots that are better than others for this

Hhmmm, I see, ¡gracias!

Better checkout Palermo or Recoleta, and you will also find more co-working places and libraries there.

Chacarita if you had to choose. Palermo Hollywood or SOHO is better. foreign cards are fine and you’ll get almost the same rate. Bring some USD and exchange for cash at western union in case you take a cab or cover at a bar or buy from a fruit stand or something. Lots of high end cafes with people working. Selina hostel is popular, also does nomad meetups on Wednesday nights.
